It was a wonderful and amazing experience at sipadan kapalai dive resort. Clear water Starry night and many scenic corners through day and night!

Water Chalet is non-air conditioner room. I dont know that my Chalet is non-Aircon Room so i have to stay in the hot room. many customers complaint very hot especially day time. For meal is buffet style and with variety food. drinking water and codial drink is free. Especially morning is very noisy because of the electric car pass by the chalet. For the view , i agreed with what i see in the youtube. During sunset . it is beautiful and romance enviroment. dues of lack of water. we cant use bath tub and the water shower is very small and i feel like i am staying in no- star hotel. But the hotel officer did tell us because of lack of water. but the transport to the Kapalai is quite frequent and free. this is bonus points. Generally, for couple those are going to honeymood and taking photos are the best to go.

All good except some rooms which located far from the reception no Internet or mobile network coverage, other than that was nice. Buggy service should extend till dinner time

A lovely and amazing hotel located in the middle of the sea. Buffet lunch and dinner are all quite okay, esp the BBQ food during dinner. The hotel was quite full with many local visitors. Didn't manage to go to the Mabul island and snorkelling outside the hotel. Better to check with the agency or hotel in advance. Don't expect too much to do in the hotel, relax and chill is one of the best options. Land transportation was well arranged from airport to the hotel. Be aware that you can get all wet on the speed boat if the weather is no good and the speed is too fast.

The ultimate couple vacation it is. The best experience ever. The must visit resort.

Pleasant stay.

This time I took my family to Malaysia for vacation🏖️, and Semporna was the second stop of this trip. Due to the conflict between the flight and the water house shuttle boat, I had to stay in the town for one night. The next day, I woke up naturally, packed my luggage and went to the pier⛵️. After nearly 45 minutes of speedboat sailing, I finally docked at Kapalai Resort at around 1 pm. Let's talk about accommodation first: the water house is a row of houses built on the reef, all wooden, the room is quite large, about 50 square meters, and there is a large terrace and a bathtub on the terrace🛁. The room only has an air conditioner of about 2 horsepower, the cooling effect is average, but the wind blowing out is uncomfortable. The hotel is a 5-star cost, but purely speaking of accommodation conditions, it is probably 3 or 4 stars. There is no phone in the room. If you need anything, you either go to the front desk to communicate, or wait at the door of the room, waiting for the passing car driver to call the radio. The water house is mainly a good environment. When you wake up every day and open the door, you can see the rippling blue waves, 5 or 6 meters underwater, starfish, Nemo and unknown fish, you can see them at a glance. Speaking of food, the meals in Kapalai are really average. There are usually about 10 dishes to choose from in the morning, noon and evening. I stayed for 2 days, and the meals every day were basically unchanged. Especially breakfast, although it is from 7 to 9:30, when I went there at 9 o'clock on the first day, there was basically nothing to eat. Third, let's talk about water activities. For residents on the island, snorkeling is free. There are two time periods a day, and the full-day service ends at 5:30 at the latest. The experiential deep diving is paid. Finally, let's talk about the signal. Although we bought a local phone card when we landed in Kuala Lumpur, there was still no signal when we arrived in Kapalai. The resort also has a special Wi-Fi sales, but it is basically limited to public areas such as restaurants. The signal will be better. Back to the room, especially those far away from the public area, there is no big difference between buying or not buying Wi-Fi. There are no leisure activities in Kapalai at night, absolutely none! There is no music bar, no midnight snack, and the service basically ends at 9 o'clock. We stayed on the island for 2 nights, which felt enough! It would be boring if it was longer. Of course, there are armed soldiers guarding the island, so it is safe and there is no need to worry about being beaten.

The pick-up and drop-off time agreed with the hotel in advance seems to have not been scheduled. They have their own ideas. I wrote this comment on the way to catch the plane. I was so angry that they didn’t come to pick us up in the morning. I vx half an hour before departure. I contacted the staff who managed the pick-up and drop-off the day before because I was afraid of an accident. Five minutes before departure, he said that there was no appointment information and the driver did not come to pick him up. Ctrip customer service was useless and there was no emergency solution. I even went to the I confirmed the time with them once at the pier before, and again on the day I left the island. Together with the appointment email, it was a total of three times, but I still had to miss the plane. It was really bad.

The scenery is beautiful, the snorkeling is average, the place is small, there are many people, and there are few recreational facilities. Overall, it is recommended

The environment is really beautiful. Watch the sunset, the moonrise, and the stars. Fall asleep to the sound of the tide and the noise of the air conditioner. Snorkeling is free, and equipment rental is charged. The snorkeling experience is great. The water is clear, as if you are in an aquarium. The air conditioner is a bit old, and my friend's room came to repair it several times before it could be used.

First of all, don’t stay for more than 2 nights. It will get boring after a long time, because there is no TV, the mobile phone signal is not good, and even WeChat cannot be opened when it is bad. The scenery is still very beautiful, especially when diving here, you can see big turtles and different kinds of fish at any time. Very cool. The buffet restaurant is average, and the facilities in the room are also average, which is the domestic Confucian standard.

Very good, clean environment, clean sea water, turtles, fish... It was my first time staying in a water house, and it was beyond my expectations. Three meals a day were included in the hotel, and there was airport pick-up, which was really comfortable. I would like to say that some previous reviews said that the three meals were average, and that if you don't come to the restaurant in time to eat, you will have nothing to eat. I don't think so. On the contrary, the meals are very rich and good. I will come again next time.
