Rooms were run down and in dire need of renovations, it smelled a lot of cigarettes, especially if you opened the window. Walls were thin and it was difficult to sleep with noisy neighbours and firm uncomfortable bedding. A breakfast service is available but I don’t recommend this, the food available is limited and lacks the usual continental options or local specialties typical for Japanese hotels. I communicated with staff almost entirely in Japanese and I’m not sure they are able to accommodate foreign tourists who cannot. For these reasons I do not recommend this hotel, especially if you are visiting Japan from abroad.

There are many delicious and fun things to do at the station. We also ate specialties such as beef tongue and edamame milkshake. According to the information provided in the hotel leaflet, we took the loop tourist bus to visit several attractions in the city.

The hotel is located just a few minutes by walking behind the main station and there are a lot of yummy food stores along the way & at the station so we never stayed hungry. There was a lot of road works during the time we were there so it’s a bit inconvenient but apart from that the room was at decent size & very clean. If you arrive early than standard check-in time, do a little walk around the city center and come back a little before the time so that you may avoid the queue when everyone shows up at said time.

Toiletries are available in the lobby, and even bathrobes are provided. The bathroom has a bathtub. The check-in service is very warm, and you can also use express check-out when checking out (the room card is lost in the check-out box in the elevator) It's a pity that I didn't have the opportunity to pay extra for breakfast this time. I will definitely try it next time I stay here. It is very close to the back station of Sendai Station and just close to Hanamaki Bus Stop. There are many restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making it a convenient area.
