OYO Hotel Starlite Seneca Falls

Worse hotel ever! The room was awful.. smelled, sp****ly decorated (no pictures, no lamps). It was filthy.. fridge, countertops, floors, window sills. If you’re in the middle of a blizzard, go ahead and stay. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and find another hotel.

This place is now "Starlight Motel". If you find yourself in the midst of a lake effect blizzard and you need to get off the road for your safety......maybe then. Other than that just keep going! This place is the worst we've ever stayed in. Smell of disinfectant made our eyes water when we opened the door. Opened a window to air the place out and the windows were really dirty. The "kitchen" had a coffee pot and toaster oven plugged into an extension cord. The stove had dirty aluminum foil under the burners. The pots/pans/silver ware were dirty, and (surprise) not even a bottle of dish soap to clean them. The bedroom had a nice big wall to mount a TV. I don't believe that TV's come any smaller than the one in our room. There was a desk(?) in the bedroom which would have been an acceptable work area, but there was no electric receptacle close enough to use. The only illumination in the room was ceiling lights, not a lamp of any kind in the room. There wasn't even a box of tissues! We were glad to see this place in our rear view mirror.

Room was very hot, no thermostat, had to keep air conditioner on the whole time. Very dirty air conditioner as seen in photo. Unable to use TV, remote not working. Not given WiFi password or phone number to office, no paperwork in room. Room with kitchen, stove burners with dirty foil. No dish soap, no hand towels or paper towels. No hand towel in bathroom.

Septic issues

This place is not even qualified to be a motel but they claimed they are a hotel. They stole my money because i refused to stay at the their dump after I saw the room. The liar Gina told me the person who was responsible to issue the refund was not in and the refund will be done in the morning. The liars told ******* that they would refund my money and stole it. I asked to see the room before I checked in and she refused because she knew it was a complete dump.

Dirty.

Very nice people very easy to work with

They did not have my reservation on file. Had to pay more than expected for room.
