I have stayed at Seoul Rakuten many times. Every time I go to Seoul, it is one of my must-choose hotels. The location is very convenient, close to the subway station, only a 2-minute walk. There are many choices in restaurants👍🏼

It's old (I knew it), but it's not cleaned very well either.
The hair dryer was tangled in hair, and there was obviously someone else's hair on the shelf where it was stored, which was unpleasant.
The table (there was one in front of the TV) was sticky too, so I wiped it down with an alcohol swab.
I had told overseas guests that it would be like the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo, but that was a big mistake.
A rundown hotel built to cut costs. It was disappointing.

Scary! You should know that there are 2 buildings, an old one with 1000 old, dusty and brown rooms. In the recent tower the rooms are at the level of the stars but nothing exceptional. The lobby is a sort of sinister and impersonal airport hall. In the morning there is a queue at breakfast. The staff is better than the hotel. In the middle of all this there is a nugget, the bar on the ground floor. Columns, a painted ceiling more than 10 meters high, deep armchairs in front of a waterfall wall and in the evening a singer. It's magical!

I stayed at both Lotte Hotel Busan and Seoul.
In Busan, I was upgraded to a room and was impressed with the service and staff.
Seoul was also good overall, but they relied too much on the location, so I would like to see further improvement in terms of service.

The location was very good, so it was convenient to go to the hospital and the bank. It was close to the subway station, so it was easy to get around, and there were many good restaurants nearby, so I was able to spend my time comfortably.

Located very close to myong dong 10 min walk. Airport bus stops right in front of the hotel. Employees were friendly and willing to help. Hotel elevator will connect to Lotte department store B1 level which then connects to subway. Hotel room was clean just wished we could make the room brighter. Water pressure waa good. Complimentary drinking water was given, room came with shower gel, hair shampoo, body cream and body scrubber! Room temperature was controllable unlike other places. We will definitely visit again.
