Travelodge Myeongdong City Hall Reviews

Located at a very convenient area with lots of eatery. Within walking distance to 2 subway station, underground shopping, historical site and tourist attraction area. Have water dispenser instead of individual water bottle. Spacious room. Very happy with stay. Friendly counter staffs. Only thing is that the chair and slipper in the room are old and worn out with crack on it.

the staff were excellent, the room was comfortable and clean with a nice bathroom. I think the value for money was spot-on. I'd stay at a Travelodge again.

Great location, less than 10 mins walk from City Hall Station exit 7. Many restaurants nearby, it is well located and take 15-20 mins walk using the underground to get to Myeongdong shopping street, and easy to use the airport limousine at the Plaza Hotel that is 5mins away

Basic but had everyone that was needed. Check-in and check-out was efficient. Location was good, near the metro station

Location was good and easily accessible by train or walking. Staffs spoke good english too. Only setback is that they don't provide bottled water. You will have to go to the lift lobby water dispenser to get water.

Location - approx 5-10mins walk to myeongdong shopping district/myeongdong subway station. 2-3 mins walking to City Hall subway station exit 7. There are two 7-11 convenience stores are just opposite the hotel. A lot restaurant nearby which is walking distance. Breakfast- buffet style but not much variety nor impressive, we stayed for 3 days and menu is about the same for 3 days. Basically they provide foods like boiled egg, scrambled eggs, fried rice, dumpling, bread. It will be good if they can improve the breakfast varieties. Amenities- no oral kits provided. They only have one washer and one dryer in this property. Be prepared for long queues if u were going to do laundry at night. This can be quite disappointing when you have to wait for so long to get your laundry done. Staff - they are able to converse well in English, friendly and you can ask for daily room make up as well. Overall - they do not allow traveller to extend check out timing, else you will be charge 11,000KRW per hour after 12pm. Nevertheless still recommended for those planning to stay in myeongdong area at affordable price.

Travelodge Myeongdong City Hall is situated at a great location for exploring Seoul. Easily accessible from Incheon International Airport, by bus which drops you off across the street that leads to the hotel (about 10 mins walk). My room was small but clean and comfortable with a small fridge, good water pressure in the shower, AC and WIFI. Staff is friendly and super helpful. There’s an onsite laundry service which takes credit card only and ironing facilities. There’s a few 7 Elevens and whole heaps of restaurants a few steps away. The hotel is less than 5 minute walk to the Seoul Metro station City Hall (Line 2) and is walking distance to Namdaemun Market and about 15 minutes walk to Myeongdong Shopping Street. I liked it so much I booked to stay a few days after my tour.

Overall space is ok. Need to bring your own bath essentials.

Location is excellent, maybe 5 mins walk to City Hall station. It was convenient to take bus/train to many of the main tourist sites, walking distance to myeondong and namdaemun. Close to many eateries like kbbq, restaurants selling soup, coffee etc. Breakfast has bread, rice, some fried stuff/sausage, soup and cereal. One thing we noticed is that the toilet has no bidet, so it was a little inconvenient for family with kids.

Disappointing Stay with Poor Room Condition and Cleaning Service **Comment:** I recently stayed at Travelodge Myeong Dong city hall and was disappointed with my experience. Here are the main issues I encountered: 1. **Room Cleanliness**: The room was not cleaned every day, which is contrary to what I expected. This led to a buildup of trash and unclean conditions during my stay. 2. **Room Condition**: The room itself was in poor condition. Specifically, the walls were broken and in need of repair. This significantly detracted from the overall comfort and aesthetic of the room. 3. Breakfast: the breakfast options were very limited

Quite noisy in the morning due to renovation nearby. Room is normal,, location is good with a lot of nice food around the corner. Myeong-dong street is 5mins walk & City Hall subway is 3mins walk

Pleasant hotel, plentiful of food options available for adults and kids. There are two 711s nearby. Perfect location! We all had a great sleep
