Seoul Mapo-gu 2-star Hotels

Actually me and my friends stayed in April 2018. The guesthouse was very clean and gave a welcoming feeling. Although located in Hongdae(but nearer to sangsu station), somehow it wasn’t loud and were able to get a good night’s sleep. Plenty of restaurants and food joints around that open till late night so you don’t have to worry about going hungry in the middle of the night. Adequate amount of bathrooms available on both floors. There are both unisex and women’s bathroom. So ladies who don’t mind staying in a co-ed guesthouse but aren’t fond of the idea of sharing bathroom with the opposite sex, this is the guesthouse for you. Spacious dining area with wall-mounted TV where you can watch youtube videos on. Clean kitchen with breakfast provided. You can cook your own meals too. Water dispenser and fridge available on the top floor so those staying upstairs don’t have to go down just to get food/drinks. Washing machine(no dryer) available for use. Clean towels provided daily. Staffs were very friendly and accomodating. Definitely a place me and my friends will book again.

The location of the guest house is really nice everything is nearby. I like that guest house included breakfast there is a juice milk and cereal also have toaster and noodles 😄 so u won’t be hungry there. Also I like that it’s pretty clean and have a lot of slippers. Washing machine is also free bc other guests house they would charge for 10000₩. And I like the people who work there they are so kind and nice bc if u will have a big luggage they would help u to climb up. I was wondering why the name of guest house call “Wow Hills” bc u when u will climb up u will say “wow hills”😂

Location is very good. Room was clean and clean, but there was no elevator so it was hard to go up and down stairs with carry bag. All entrances were opened by entering a PIN, so when I came in for the first time and checked in, I couldn't find the password, so I was a little impatient without opening the door. There was a KakaoTalk id written next to the entrance, and I contacted him to open it. You may want to contact and ask in advance!

I stayed in the Bunk Guest House for a few days and I had an amazing time. The hostel was clean, perfect location, great vibe, lovely outside area for relaxing, extremely safe, comfortable beds and on top of all that, Brian was an incredible host. He was extremely helpful with tours and general advice. He even taught us how to make a soju bomb and which is a recipe for disaster! He really made everyone feel welcome. I cannot recommend the Bunk Guesthouse house enough. Also, free breakfast!

The hotel is in a strategic location in Hongdae If you take AREX from airport ~ take Exit 4 ( with lift) and cross the road to reach the hotel if you take MRT Line 2 ( green line) ~ take Exit 2 ( with escalator) and walk straight Breakfast time start at 8:00 am, it is a breakfast set come with egg, salad, bacon and toast bread and with unlimited refill , for those who depart early can request cup noodles from the reception. Room with comfortable bed, adjustable room temperate and also stable hot shower . Laundry service is 4000 won which is cheap compared to most of the hotel. i was encountered an exchange rate dispute with Agoda before i depart and the Hotel Manager, Kiki and Hosun take initiative to help me settle though LINE . I'm highly appreciated the fast response from both of them, thank you very much for your help ~ Definitely will return to your hotel in future ~ keep up the good work~

This being our first trip to Seoul we were glad we chose Hongdae before moving to Seoul statuon area. Pros: 10 mins walk from Hongik University Station. Direct line from Incheon airport so that makes it very convenient. Location is in a residential area so you do get a good night's sleep as there is not much noise after 10pm. There are coffee/tea sachets and biscuits at the reception kitchen which you can avail yourselves. Many convenience store, eateries, cosy cafes and local supermarkets around. Walking distance to Hongdae art market and shopping area. Plenty of activities in the evening esp weekends. The place is abuzz with lots of energy and great place for youths and teens. Hongdae is also a great place to shop if you are into vintage clothing as there are a number of quaint little shops. Also there are 3 animal cafes there. Do check out Bau House and Meerkat Cafe. Loads of BBQ restaurants! Cons: Room is small and there is only enough space to open 1 luggage. (possible after we moved the table to a side) There is a wall rack with 2 hooks and a small rack inside the toilet insufficient to hang bathing towels. As there was no cabinet you have to practically live out of your luggage. So please set your expectations regards this area and you will be fine. As Hongdae is quite a distance away do factor in additional time to travel to most of the tourist attractions. If you are staying more than 5 days in Seoul would recommend that you split your stay just as we did. Each location had a totally different feel and different sights to discover and enjoy! Overall in terms of hospitality and value would recommend this place as location is thumbs up.

For the first time, I will come to Korea every year and like to live in Hongda best. This time, it＇s really great. The room is very clean, and the boss is very friendly. I will definitely choose this place next time.

■ Cospa best 4,000 per night. When you are used to the hotel, there is a shared shower or resistance, but it is really recommended to people to stay at an ordinary hotel until the two people pay the room price !! And breakfast is self-style and it is good to use what is in the refrigerator. It is also suitable for long stay! ■ The location is also the best near Honde's style Nanda. It is very close to downtown and near the station. Rich was the best in about 5 minutes walk from Honde's airport line. ■ Cleanliness Shampoo, rinse, body soap, and toothpaste were attached. The water was very beautiful. ■ Host is too kind Two couples, wife is Chinese and husband is Korean. I mainly receive explanation from my husband, but I am very good at Japanese and I don't have any problem with those who can't speak Korean. Also, there was no heating in the room, but if it is cold, please say it at any time because it heats the floor. Or, if the next room is noisy, please say it at any time, and it was a very kind host. I want to use here next time !!!

It's an unexpected surprise, definitely worthy of manual praise and super five-star praise. The location of the hotel is very good. It is three minutes away from the subway station, and the airport bus 6002 is also next to the subway station. The little brother of the hotel helped carry the suitcase, and the uncle was also very enthusiastic. The hotel has free water, drinks, and the bathroom is also very good. I will live here as long as I go to Seoul

The staff is very friendly, it was the first time I made a reservation with my mobile phone, so I added another person. I even called and he explained to me calmly. Currently, the building next door is under construction, so there is no paint on the windows. I had to jump out and close the curtains. Due to the coronavirus, no facilities are available.
