I would say this place is mediocre at best. Facilities are tired, website pictures do not reflect the reality. Food is adequate but nothing special. Reception staff were friendly. We stayed in the campsite which is pretty bleak. Views of the staff quarters. Ablutions were OK but not great.

Considering that you are staying in the middle of the desert, it was beyond my expectations. It was close to the national park, they served good dinner, staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We were happy and we would go again. On the negative side, rooms are getting bit outdated, specially the facilities in the bathroom but again you are in the middle of desert so you do not care about it.

Awesome place, well situated, wonderful helpful staff, and the rooms are great! Difficult to find fault, except maybe the food is a bit disappointing for the price, but would definitely recommend and re-visit.

Inmitten der Wüste befindet sich diese außergewöhnliche Lodge, sie wirkt wie eine Oase. Die Anlage ist sehr sauber und gepflegt.Das Personal super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer modern eingerichtet und die Betten sind angenehm zum Schlafen. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Ein umbestellen des Fleisches aus dem Abendessen war problemlos. Sesriem befindet sich ca. 40 km entfernt. Frühstück ist bereits ab 6.00 Uhr möglich (wichtig für den Ausflug nach Sossusvlei).

2 nights. good check-in; comfortable, clean room; lights were turned on and bed and mosquito nets “prepared” every night; found the “short bedtime story” on the bed a nice touch; set menu for dinner. well maintained garden. An inquisitive jackal visited the premises every day but didn't come too near. Enjoyable stay. Wlan available

Tolle Lodge, alle Angestellten super nett und das Essen war klasse. Die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer war mega. Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht dort. Würden immer wieder dort die ein oder andere Nacht verbringen!

Very good food, rooms, location, swimming pool, excellent staff and a sky where you can see all the stars at night. The animals and view from Elegant Desert Camp are also fantastic and a must visit...
