The hotel is 200 meters outside the desert park. The room is clean and tidy. Dinner under the stars is so romantic. There are also quiver trees planted in the hotel, and the swimming pool faces the desert🏜️

The room was clean and tidy, the dinner was rich, the environment was special, and it exceeded my expectations. The only drawback was that only the bar had a signal, and the room did not have Wi-Fi. There was no signal, and occasionally a text message could be sent for several minutes, which was equivalent to a network disconnection. The bar closed at 9:00 pm. However, there was no signal in the Red Desert Scenic Area and even on the road. It was windy at night, and the sand hit the glass door, making a little noise. Special thanks to Ctrip customer service. When I placed the order, I used the default date. After payment, I found the error and communicated with Ctrip. The customer service was very proactive in contacting the local agent and helped me change the date to the next day for free.

There is a meal package for one less person in the single room. So that people who live in a single room don't need to be expensive. The flexibility is high and then it is available immediately (we booked temporarily when the original accommodation was not as expected)

Very nice, large lodge right at the entrance to Sossusvlei Park (Sossusvlei Gate). The bungalows are spread out over a large area and we were able to watch various animals from the terrace in the morning and evening. Professional and friendly service. Very good food with a large selection (grill buffet).

The location and ambiance of this lodge are perfectly suited for the red desert sand dunes. It blended well with the nature and has easy access to Sossuvlei desert area. The real attraction is the dessert with Dune 45 and the ability to be close to nature. We enjoyed the observation deck, the sundowner deck and the outdoor dinner under the stars. The hotel can arrange tours and activities. We chose to take the plane ride over the desert and highly recommend that to get the most amazing perspective over how vast, red and gorgeous the Namib desert is.

The Lodge is just outside the Main Gate for the dunes, so very convenient for an early start. Our chalet was lovely, very spacious and comfortable. The evening buffet dinner, served outside, was excellent. We enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

During my recent stay in the Sossusvlei area I visited Sossusvlei Lodge for dinner and can highly recommend it. Before heading to the restaurant we grabbed some sundowners at the bar which was definitely the right choice. The drinks paired with the beautiful Namib desert and the firepits being lit as the sun started setting really set the mood for the evening. Dinner was a 3-course buffet featuring a surprising variety of fresh, local ingredients, with highlights like game meat options. When you consider the variety of the buffet and the impressive selection of wines, it's amazing how Sossusvlei Lodge manages to deliver such quality in the heart of the Namib. To top it all off, our waiter, was attentive and friendly making the evening even more enjoyable, and our table looking out onto the desert is truly what fairy tales are made of. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience in the Sossusvlei area, then Sossusvlei Lodge is a must-visit. A huge shout out to New African Safaris for arranging this once-in-a-lifetime experience!
