We had a lovely 3 night stay towards the end of May. The outside temperature was getting warm (late 20’s) so it was warm without getting unbearable, I wouldn’t want to be here during the high summer months especially if you were wanting to do a lot of walking sightseeing. The location is perfect, next to the river and the near the city center. We paid that bit extra and stayed in an Attic Penthouse room (777) with Jacuzzi, outdoor seating area and a city view towards the cathedral. For us it made our stay even more special. The whole hotel has a trendy modern twist in an old building and our room came with all the extras you’d expect from a 5 star hotel, large 65” TV, large comfy bed, luxurious bath room (2 toilets), excellent air conditioning and large ceiling fan. Complimentary bottle of fizz and large fruit ball was also a very nice touch. Breakfast was extensive and nice, including full English option although the poached eggs are on the very soft side so I’d ask for them to be a bit more well done. The roof top pool is very nice although space is very limited, I think there’s only 2/3 sun beds so there no real room for sunbathing. The Attico rooftop bar is a beautiful spot especially in the evenings, the views and cooler breeze are a dream, it’s definitely the place to be seen so getting a table can be difficult, definitely worth reserving if possible. All the staff were pleasant and helpfully both in the hotel and rooftop bar, we went to the AC/DC concert during our stay so getting taxis wasn’t easy but they made sure ours arrived on time when there was big queues for them elsewhere. Would definitely recommend this hotel 👍
