淡季很少人，去軍馬場很方便，走過去5分鐘。酒店外面有超市有飯店。入住這裡是為了早上可以趕上看到馬羣飲水，短期入住可以的。

山丹這個地方是這次西北行最大的驚喜，開始預訂計劃來這是騎馬，後來才發現騎馬倒沒什麼意思，顛簸的胸疼。來山丹這個地方看草原才是最大亮點，景色太美了，土撥鼠，野生小鹿，氂牛，綿羊，遠處的雪山，小河，草原，牧民家的酸奶，超級棒的旅程！賓館很一般，有暖氣片，床被還是乾淨，小木屋。但這裏衹有這樣的條件，周邊環境比較落後。
