Flights cancelled and stayed here with family of young kids in order to save commute time for an early next day flight out. AC didn’t work, it was hot, and light switches were very confusing. Dust around high reaches of ceiling where sprinkler is. As we were exhausted we didn’t bother calling down to front desk to get fixes so just cracked open window. TV signal seemed like it was standard definition. Overall okay stay for cancelled flight with purpose for convenience to fly out early next day.

I stayed in this hotel just because of its proximity to Hongqiao Railway Station and my stay was brief. However the room was immaculate and the whole hotel environment was very clean and vibrant. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I’m very happy with my choice.

The location is great if you have to catch a train or plane the next day. The room was very nice and the bed was really comfortable. So comfortable that I didn't want to wake up early for my train.The breakfast had a really good variety such as noodles, crepes, pastries, etc. The room had a good amount of toiletries. However, I was disappointed that the mini fridge was empty despite a list of items available being in the room. Also, there seemed to be no menu for room service or even a guide to the hotel amenities. The check in was quick and easy. But I wouldn't say they really made an effort to be welcoming. I had to ask for the gift and also the information about the dinner included in my booking fee.

Had an amazing birthday getaway at Hotel Indigo Shanghai Hongqiao! Beautiful hotel, old Shanghai décor, infinity pool, delicious breakfast and the service was absolutely amazing. Excellent hotel, I really enjoyed the stay. It has the convenience of being near hongqiao train station, as well as many good restaurants to get food nearby. They also have a fitness room and breakfast restaurant. It was very clean, I can’t fault it, and they have robots that deliver food that you order to your door!

We had a very enjoyable stay at this lovely hotel, conveniently located within walking distance of the Hongqiao transport hub. There is a wonderful choice of eateries on a food street just across the road and the breakfast at the Mercure is also copious and delicious. Excellent service, very friendly staff who do everything to provide a pleasant environment for their guests. I am familiar with the Mercure chain and I would not hesitate to give this top class hotel a five star recommendation in all categories.

This is the first time I have come to Shanghai to participate in the exhibition. I met a beautiful and generous proprietress in this strange city. Whether it is living or breakfast, it is very good. The most important thing is to come back late because of the exhibition. I almost couldn’t catch the train. I told the proprietress later. She took my luggage out for me, arranged a car to take us to Hongqiao Station, and gave me two bottles of water intimately. I really met such a good person outside. Thank you very much. I took the children to play during the summer vacation. I will go here to live, thank you for your care today.
