Excellent location in the middle of the French concession. so close to the library and wukang mansion. Excellent public transport links to other places of interest. Unfortunately I didn't try the breakfast because there were so many places I wanted to try outside. The staff were really helpful too❤️

We had a wonderful stay here at Hotel Equatorial Shanghai. Hotel is easily accessible from Jing'an temple metro station. The beautiful Jing'an Sculpture park is very close. Great location in a beautiful area for shopping and food or for leisurely walking . We found many great restaurants in the nearby area. And being so close to the subway puts the entire city at your doorstep. Hotel rooms are of a classic design. Solid walls ensured great sleep with no disturbances. Beds were very comfortable. Hotel staff are enthusiastic and very helpful when we had questions. A special recognition and thanks to the master chefs and staff in the kitchen. The breakfast buffet here is amazing and not to be missed! Everyday was delicious. Highly recommend! (and keep an eye out for the hotel robot that you will see gliding around and even taking the elevators!) :-)

I have stayed in this hotel before when it was the Hilton. It was good then, and it is good even now. It used the home tennis stars during the Tennis Masters tournament in Shanghai. The location is the best part of this hotel. and easy access to Metro stations, the neighboring roads Julu Lu Changle Lu and Fumin Lu are buzzing with activity on weekend nights with their endless bars and restaurants! a great place to chill out, and I did just that. I got upgraded to a fantastic room with a view of Jingan Temple!

A lovely hotel with a rich historical ambiance, and the room size was amazing, exceeding my expectations. The ground-floor restaurant was very convenient, but there are several restaurants and pubs nearby offering plenty of alternative options. However, I decided to try the traditional Shanghai cuisine in the hotel and had a meal there. The food tasted good, although it was a bit pricey. The surrounding area was pleasant, perfect for a relaxing stroll that kept me in a pleasant mood.

Great location along Huaihai Road. Very close to IAPM and Metro line. Park a short walk away. Hotel feels a little old but staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel has a gym and restaurant but did not use either to comment on. Bed was comfortable!

My wife and I visited Shanghai for a doctor's visit and chose this hotel near the clinic. The breakfast is good, and not expensive. The location is great, and it is close to Nanjing Road, further down the road, there are many small eateries, even a Western restaurant, as well as a French-style bakery. The only thing that is not so good, is the fact that it is difficult to find the location when you take a taxi from the station. When we typed in ”Campanile Hotel” on the DIDI App, it did not appear. We then tried to hail a cab from the street but even when we showed the hotel name and booking page, the cab drivers just shook their heads. One driver picked us up but took us to an entirely different hotel. Thankfully we got a cab again, and the driver knew the place. Later we discovered that it is known as Kangbo Hotel, Wulumuqi Road.

Second stay after very pleasant one two weeks ago, but slightly disappointed with a few things broken down in the room including the blue tooth speaker resulting in changing to another room which was a little hassle. Although nothing is perfect, but in a very competitive hospitality industry, the consistency of customers’ satisfaction maintains guests’ loyalty. Comparing with other hotels, Puli still stands out as a service oriented hotel. The amenities do look a bit tired and need to be taken care of or upgraded soon.

It's our 1st time staying in Seclusive, and we chose to celebrate my 50th birthday here (we're from Singapore). In our 6 days trip in Shanghai, this is the 3rd hotel we've stayed for 3 nights. We booked 2 rooms - a suite and a king-sized bedroom. Talk about the downside first. The suite (on the 2nd floor) is spacious with a terrace, however the king-sized bedroom (on the ground floor) was extremely small, it will not be suitable if you're a 6 footer at all (you'd probably be knocking your knee to alot of things). Since it is an old structured building, the sewerage system is no good (toilets in both our rooms were choked and needed attention). The staircase to the level 2 was really steep with uneven carpet. They should also plan to hire more (& younger) housekeeping staff as cleaning up the rooms takes longer than expected, we waited on the day of check-in as well as when we were out for lunch (2 hours). Now on the good things! Location is great as it is walking distance to alot of shops, cafes, restaurants. We reckon that this is a 'hot' and 'social influencer' locality with lotsa crowd taking photos and vids. What made the stay MOST PLEASANT and MEMORABLE is the staff named Ace, true to his name - he was truly a superstar with top-notch service and attitude, the type you'd think never exist in this world! From settling the laundry (with an external vendor), booking cars, restaurants reservations, birthday-surprise decor to the room, all coordination with external vendors and many more! Last but not least - with a bright smile at all times! If at all we decide to be back, its only because of Ace!

One of my criteria when choosing a hotel is it has to be within walking distance to a subway/ Metro station. Urcove @ Hyatt in Pingan is located just across Wuding station (Exit 1 is across while Exit 2 is about 100m on the same side). For less than $140, I got a superior room with breakfast included. Room: Clean and spacious. The toilet is separated from the bathroom. It doesn't have a bathtub which is fine with me. So one can use the toilet while the other can take a bath. It has a sofa set beside the super single bed (there are 2 beds) which I loved as I would plonk myself on it after a long,tired day of sightseeing/shopping/ walking. The view overlooks the city and you can see the metro station that is directly below 😊 WiFi/ TV The WiFi is pretty weak. And i couldn't access YouTube/ Instagram/Tiktok/ Google using the hotel WiFi. TV programmes are quite limited. No English programmes. Breakfast Some reviewers complained about the lack of variety but we thought that the buffet selection is quite good. You have your usual porridge and Chinese breakfast menu, plus the eggs and sausages, cereal and bread. We enjoyed the morning breakfast during our stay. Hotel concierge The guest relation officers are helpful and friendly. The waitresses at the restaurants are also very friendly. I am very happy with the service rendered.👍 Convenience There are quite a few restaurants nearby. You can also order food and the hotel robot will send it to your room. (We didn't have food delivery because we were out for almost the entire day). As mentioned, the metro station is just across the road. I would take it from Wuding station (Line 14) to Jingan Temple station (Line 2)which is just one station away. People's Square/ Nanjing ok East stations (if you want to go to the Bund) are on Line 2. Line 2 also goes to both airports. (We actually took the metro train to Pudong International Airport station when we flew home. And it only costs ¥7! ) I would definitely stay in this hotel again when I visit Shanghai again.

The hygiene, service and location are unique in Jing'an District of Shanghai. When I checked in that night, I told my family that ”Yizhi Ningmeng” is highly recommended. For the working class, you should save money when you are away from home. The bedroom I booked is 4.5 square meters and costs about 180, but the public area (private bathroom, toilet privacy and hygiene are no worse than star hotels) is a single room of 20 square meters next door, which costs about 810. Well, after all, Line 1 is across the street, and Changshu Road Station of Line 7 is a few steps away. It is very convenient to travel. It only takes 17 or 18 minutes to walk from Ningmeng to Jing'an Temple without taking buses or subways. There are all kinds of small shops, bars, Japanese food, coffee, etc. along the way for a walk in the evening. Very Shanghai accent~ Anyway, I look forward to looking for Xiao Ning Meng next time I come to Shanghai. By the way, I went out early in the morning and had something that was inconvenient to take away. The beautiful front desk lady helped to post it for me. The handsome boy was also very gentle. The cutest one was the hygienist. The public bathroom was used by one person. After use, she was busy cleaning up. A super dedicated team👍 Picture 1 is the subway station near the hotel PS: The disposable toothbrushes, toothpastes and slippers issued are of good quality. The room does not have the stuffy smell of the old-fashioned fast chain hotels. Anyway, just like the name of Ning Meng, I feel comfortable and cute when I check in~~ (It is different from the capsule hostels in Xiaorizi Country. It is not depressing at all)
