Not bad .

The hotel’s location is really convenient, just 100m from East Nanjing road station. The staffs are supportive and friendly. However the facilities are bad. The hotel have a few slots for take a shower, and each bathroom have only one washing machine and one dryer.

The best hotel in Shanghai, locted in the city center and the Staff is super friendly. Cozy common spaces and clean rooms. Everyday is cleaning the whole hostel. I really enoyed my 2 weeks here as it feels home and the location just very comfortable for tourism or for study/work. Highly recommend it. Cheers, Peter

Very friendly people at the reception, super convenient location and easygoing vibe in the hostel. The rooms aren’t big but cleaned daily, have crispy clean bed sheets and comfortable soft mattresses. Laundry unit (washing and drying) is paid but less than €1. My only frustration was the bathroom, it’s not ventilated and gets very steamy. Plus water was always spilled around the countertop making it impossible to keep personal items dry. But overall, amazing value for its money.

You can't have both (comfort yourself) and the price-performance ratio is really high!

Facilities: Very new and complete, separate sanitary bathing for men and women, toilets are all toilets, and they are all smart toilets! Shampoo, shower gel and toilet paper are provided. There are washing machines and dryers in each bathroom. There is a relatively large locker in the room, the bed is very sturdy and stable, and there is no noise. The bedding is pre-made by the aunt, which is very convenient. Plastic slippers are provided, and there is a power socket and USB charging port on the bed. Sleep: The quality of the guests is good, there is no noise in the room, it was a bit difficult to fall asleep at the beginning of the night, but I fell asleep in a daze, and then I slept very well! The quality of the bedding should also be good, and it seems that there are no long-term guests. The overall experience is very good! Recommended! If you have to nitpick, it may be that the bed does not have a folding table, and it is better to add a water-blocking curtain to the place where clothes are hung in the shower cubicle, haha. This time I happened to have to stay for one night at Hongqiao Airport for a transfer, so I booked a youth hostel along Metro Line 2 to find a place to rest for a few hours. 📍: The location of Nanjing West Road Branch is very good. It is right next to Nanjing West Road Metro Station. There are restaurants in the bustling business district around it. It is also very convenient to go to the airport and Hongqiao Railway Station by subway. However, there is a restaurant (hot pot restaurant) downstairs of the youth hostel, and the public elevator (the elevator is very narrow) has a bit of a strong smell when entering and exiting. 🛏️: The eight-person room I stayed in was small and stuffy without windows. The room was so small that a 24-inch suitcase could not be opened (I was dumbfounded when I opened the luggage to take things out). It is recommended not to bring large luggage (preferably less than 20-inch suitcases) to check in. This time I was assigned to the upper bunk. The bunk bed design of this youth hostel is very strange. It is the most difficult to climb on and off the bed among all the youth hostels I have stayed in (so that I dare not get off the bed after washing up that night) 🚿: There is no independent bathroom in the room. It seems that there is only one public toilet and shower room on the first floor. Many people use it, so the overall hygiene is also average. 💻: The public area does not have the atmosphere of a youth hostel. There are more permanent guests. At night, the public area is mostly for study and work. If you are just transiting or temporarily transitioning for one night, you can stay there. I personally do not recommend staying for multiple days when traveling (especially if it is more than 100 yuan per night)
