VX Hotel (Shanghai Railway Station Store) Reviews

In general it is a good Hotel, but definitely costs only the price offered by Trip.com (not more than that). I liked the attitude of Hotel Staff whose duty is room cleaning, especially very good old woman on the 2nd floor. She deserves promotion. I wish breakfast was better. It was cold in the offered room, especially evening and night time (Air Conditioning is not enough). Thanks

I found this hotel the most value for money while touring with my wife. It is not far away from the infamous Bund and convenient to access anywhere else. Highly recommend for anyone who consider less costly hotel while visiting Shanghai.

The hotel is very cost-effective and clean. But the transportation is inconvenient. There is no subway station on both sides. It is a bit far to walk to Shanghai Station. It is difficult to get a taxi because the distance is too close.

I have stayed here many times. There is a large parking lot, which is convenient for self-driving. The front desk reception was enthusiastic. I was going to stay for two days, but due to some temporary arrangements, I needed to check out early. After communicating with the front desk by phone, they agreed to delay the check-out by 2 hours. I will continue to stay in the future.

This time I stayed at the Gaffey Hotel and had a great experience! As Christmas was approaching, the lobby was full of Christmas atmosphere, warm and cheerful. The washing machine and dryer in the room were super easy to use, and there was also a gym where I could keep exercising at any time. The breakfast was rich and delicious, which was a good start to the day. I would especially like to thank Xiao Chen, who wore glasses at the front desk, for being professional and enthusiastic, and providing super considerate service. He could quickly help me solve any needs. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again next time!
