Friendly staff. Mr Shu is kind and helpful. Very responsive on Wechat. My only only complaint is the noise from other guests. Thin walls and every single morning around 7-8am there is significant noise from other rooms or floors. Couldn’t get proper sleep sometimes.

This hotel is very nice. It is located in a historic building and has a vintage style. The hotel is very affordable and the staff were very friendly giving us directions and resteraunt recommendations. The staff was able to speak some English which is helpful.

The hotel is very near nanjing city work, the host is very friendly, the price is cheat. I will come back if I travel to Shanghai.

The hotel is clean and well-maintained, with a fantastic location. The host was incredibly helpful, making us feel like we were visiting a relative's home. He even assisted us in sending a parcel to friends in mainland China and generously shared fresh fruit with us. I highly recommend this place!

an absolutely adorable little boutique tucked away in a authentic little alley with lots of little markets and corner stores, it‘s super central and close to nanjing road and the bund ! its really clean, tidy and quiet. the owner is soo nice and helps you with any questions you have ! they even helped us do laundry and order hand luggage that came in an hour !

the hosts are wonderful, we can see how they love the hotel and treat all guests very well, they offer water, fruit, help with location and everything tourists need to know. the rooms are clean and renovated. The location of the hotel is very good, close to several restaurants and we were able to walk to the river (bund). We really enjoyed our stay. We have already traveled to several countries and hotels, but this one was really different because it was very welcoming.

Boss Chen is very hospitable, he will introduce to you where are the places to go about around this home stay boutique hotel, around this hotel is where the original Shanghainese people stay, stirs one's imagination. Highly recommended. And very peaceful in the evening.

Fabulous hotel in Shanghai's "hutong" where you feel like stepping into the past. A delight for photographers. Room is clean and neat, and gave me the best night sleep of my trip in Jiangnan region. Location is excellent, walking distance from Exit 15 of People Park metro, with many local eateries. Best to contact the hotel before arriving as they will provide you with abundance of information regarding arrival place, eating, sightseeing etc.
