Location is very convenient, near Yuyuan, Lujiazui, People's Square, Nanjing Lu. The staff was kind enough to allow us early check-in, which we appreciate very much as we had a sleepless night at the airport. One drawback is the room isn't sound-proof, bring a noise cancellation headphone/earphone if you're a light sleeper

The location of this hotel is very convenient because Thera are a subway station closer, and closer to the Shanghai museum, and tu can get walking the pedestrian street “Nanjing road”. The room is very comfortable, inside are a slider and many different amenities.

I have been to Shanghai many times. This is the most comfortable hotel I have stayed in. The front desk owner is patient, handsome and nice. The room is clean and tidy. The transportation is convenient. The subway is a few dozen meters south. It is a good choice for a business trip. As a Virgo guest, I give it a full score.

But when I came to this youth hostel in Shanghai, I really realized what it means to have a lot of money in the center of a metropolitan city. There are two rooms in a four-person room. You can't even put the cabinets behind the bunk beds. There were two people living in the room when I checked in. After putting the luggage together, my suitcase could only be placed against the entrance. One person left that night and the luggage was moved, so I was able to move some stuff inside. The bathroom is extremely small. It would be difficult for two adults to turn around in it. There is a toilet, shower and sink in such a small bathroom. I simply didn't take a shower that day. I couldn't find a ventilation switch, and I didn't know if there was one, so it was hard to imagine how sour the smell would be if someone used the toilet inside. The light inside the bed is very dim. In fact, the light in the whole room is dim, which makes people feel very depressed. I was on the upper bunk. After I climbed up, there was a lot of dust in the place where the things were placed in the bed. How can I put it this way? It’s not pleasant to say. What's the difference between seed and *******? I didn't fall asleep all night and felt that the air was not flowing. It wasn't until about 6 o'clock in the morning that I was really sleepy and I squinted for a while. Disposable sheets and duvet covers are placed on the bed. I understand that you need to make the bed yourself, but I don't quite understand that you have to collect it yourself after checking out (this is just my personal opinion, no offense intended). If I have to say that this youth hostel costs more than 80 yuan a night, I can only say that the money is spent on the location. It is more than one kilometer away from the Bund and there are many business districts around it. It is quite fun to play.

It was my first trip to Shanghai and I stayed here on the first day. I arrived at 10pm and the receptionist didn't seem to understand English so they kindly used a translator to help me. I booked this time thinking that if I could sleep in the dormitory, that would be fine, but when I arrived late at night, I had to be careful because the noise was so loud, and the toilet and shower were all in one, so it was really small and wet, and there was no toilet paper in the toilet, and you had to throw it in the trash. I ended up feeling even more tired and didn't feel like taking a shower, so I took a quick nap and left early the next morning. There was no talking or eating or drinking in the room, so I didn't mind the manners of the other people staying in the dormitory, but the environment was worse than I expected, so if I ever come to Shanghai, I won't use it again and will spend 10,000 yen a night and stay in a proper hotel.
