Front of house and breakfast staff are extremely good with service and being helpful. Even the cleaning staff will greet you. Located close to the bund and is linked to the Bund center. The room itself was too hot and the airconditioning did not seem to help. Sheets were a little dusty as well. For quick, convenient trips it is a good option.

I recently stayed at the Westin Hotel and had a great experience! The concierge staff were helpful and made my stay even better. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a free room upgrade and the room itself was lovely. The only minor issue I experienced was that the room was a bit too warm, but overall it was a great stay and I would highly recommend the Westin Hotel to anyone looking for a lovely and comfortable stay.

Clean and professional. Close to the Bund. I stayed there only one night to enjoy the Christmas Lunch the next day. I asked them for a room with a view of the Pearl Tower, and a room on a high floor, and they had no problem arranging that.

Very old and dirty, I’m really disappointed, we booked for 2 nights but we just stayed one night, also the location is not good for vacation travelers, the staff were really kind but the receptionist was really slow and doesn’t know much English I recommend you never stay in this hotel, it’s really expensive and doesn’t worth it at all 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Very nice bathroom with such a big bathtub overlooking outside road at high floor. Grand lobby and b/f area and excellent b/f varieties to eat. Location also just 10 mins walk to the bund. Would love to come back to stay here again.

I had breakfast at your buffet level 1. By midday I was very ill with food poisoning needing treatment. This whole day I had to cancel my meetings and couldn't leave the room.

Worth the extra coin for a solo trip or vacation. Be advised u do need to make a deposit, but the location allows you to walk to several of Shanghai's hot spots in minutes

I booked the hotel because of the advertised oriental pearl tower view… of course the booked room type was not available… even after paying for an upgrade the room had a worse view then advertised. Rooms are clean and stuff is friendly. Location is pretty bad. Subway station too far away… ordering taxis usually include a waiting time for about 15 minutes. Next proper convenience store is also quite far away.

Everything was more than perfect! I loved this hotel, for sure when I came to Shanghai I will back here😄

The Westin was lovely. The check in price was easy, and I received a free upgrade to a larger room. The view from my side of the hotel wasn't great, but the room was huge with a roomy bathtub as well. The staff were polite and helpful. My only complaint was that the room was so hot even after I turned the heat down. Overall, it was a great stay!

Overall a disappointing experience for several reasons. I’m not one who usually writes negative reviews or makes lists of issues when I stay at hotels, but there were a few that were difficult to ignore: 1. I stayed on Christmas Eve because we were having the hotel’s brunch the next day. I thought I would have a nice, relaxing morning to wake up and get ready, but instead was awoken to construction work out in the hallway—drilling and hammering that were incredibly loud. Furthermore, the whole room was then filled with the STRONGEST, AWFUL smell of burning plastic that I had ever smelt. Because none of the windows in the room could open, I had to suffer through the smell and try to ready as quickly as possible…not a pleasant way to wake up! 2. The bathroom just wasn’t clean. There were urine and possible blood stains on the toilet seat and floor that I had to wipe away when I first arrived to the room. Cleaning services should do a better job to check the toilet surfaces when cleaning. 3. It’s December and the middle of a cold snap in Shanghai, but for some reason the room was unbearably hot and stuffy. I turned off the heating and even tried to turn on the cold AC but the temperature remained the same. It was difficult to sleep because of how hot and sweaty I was. The windows couldn’t be opened so I couldn’t even get a fresh breeze…

Front desk and concierge staff went above and beyond to help with transferring luggage, arranging package pick up and delivery and translating. Comfortable bed, great amenities. Can recommend.
