Firstly i did not find the hotel entrance Room is small but is good. Location is good and convenience, nearby shopping mall just across the road can be access to subway.

Booked the hotel for my parents, they said it was good enough for one night, a little difficult to find at night, on the 5th floor

Arrived at the hotel late at night but the hotel staff kindly helped us check in. Took a while to locate the entrance of the hotel, it was inconspicuously hidden (had to take the lift at the corner of the 1st floor (next to a food store that opens late night) up to the 5th floor for the lobby - the lift area on the 1st floor wasn’t very brightly lit at night). Throughout our 4 night stay, we had to change rooms as there were some issues with the room (1st room wasn’t very clean and the water heater had some temperature consistency issue - which we realized later on this might be a building issue). But the housekeeping lady was very nice about it and showed us to our next room, and gave us some tips on the shower heater and all. Thank you hotel staff for accommodating to our various requests! Also as I ordered some stuff from a Chinese shopping platform, the parcels were delivered and kept in the storage room that they have near the reception. It’s self collection mostly, but on one of the occasion I had difficulty locating my parcel and one of the hotel staff kindly assisted me with the search. Thank you once again! Location wise, one of the metro station entrances is opposite the hotel, so it was pretty convenient when we were heading out. However, the surrounding areas isn’t very luggage-friendly (uneven floors, narrow pathways, etc), so if you are carrying lots of luggages then taking a cab might be more feasible to get to your next destination (e.g. airport, train station…). Had a bit trouble to find the entrance first. Good place to stay alone.

good experience, nice room and good location. but please pay attention on cleanliness in buffet area especially in night when we are getting warm noodles. we tell the staff about a cockroach but they do nothing.

The hotel was not easy to find.. take the elevator to the 5 floor.. no names in English on the building. Everything else is nice. the walls are thin and not soundproof

Convenient location with plenty of shops and restaurants around. Room was clean and service was good.

Easy to find, easy to access from metro station Dongchang (just 350m), and there is another subway station jsut 50m away (another line). Reception & check in was smooth. Room are not that big, but as per description. Clean & comfortable. Only minor minor problem was TV turn on each time I entered the room... not easy to turn off. But it is ok.

Hard to locate at first however nice hotel. Would stay again.

On the plus side - close to the metro and the modern part of Shanghai - daily cleaning - water, tea and coffee in the room every day - without any problems they changed the room to one more consistent with the declared one Of the minuses - for some reason the room had to be changed, they did not immediately provide a normal one as stated - in the evenings one part of the room stank, as if a mouse had died - only 1 key, not very convenient for a couple - 1 bathrobe in a room for two.

Great location, very close to metro/underground, nice and friendly staff and services, tasty breakfast with plenty of choices. Room for improvement: the place needs better soundproof and better insulation, as smells from outside can get inside our bedroom.

Overall, the stay was pretty comfortable. Location is good!
