It’s clean hotel but elevator just 1 only!!! And too slow For breakfast place not enough site

Superb location: 2 blocks from the bund and 2 blocks from nanjing lu pedestrian street. Metro is also two blocks away. Plenty of bikes outside so you can rent one and bike around the area. This hotel is like a 3-star chain hotel here in China. Simple amenities, simple breakfast. Room was small but when they saw we had kids and tons of things, they upgraded us to a bigger room. People in the front desk are extremely helpful. They have big laundry area guests can use for free. One thing I dislike is their slow elevator--only one serving the entire 6-floor building. I guess they have no choice because their hotel is part of one of the older Shanghai buildings. Most of the time, we use the stairs. Entrance is on the 1st floor Lobby and laundry area are on the 2nd floor Our room was on the 5th floor (no 4th floor in this building) Dining area was 7th floor. This was our last stop in our tour and I received over 40 packages. Their staff was kind enough to help me receive and keep them -- and not a hint of complaint or irritation could be felt from them. I really felt their genuine hospitality.

Location is perfect…just 5mins walk to The Bund…hotel breakfast is good with local popular noodles….everything is just nice with this hotel…hotel staffs are very polite and kind…thumbs up!

The hotel’s location was great! Very near to Nanjing road and the Bund too! The staff was super friendly and very helpful! When they saw we were two people they gave us a bigger room on the 7th floor! The room is simple but the hotel offers everything! We loved that they have a laundry room where u could wash and even iron or steam your clothes! In overall it was a good experience and I would book it again! Ps: the view from the terrace on the 7th floor was not bad at all!

The room that we first get assigned was super small, with poor room condition such as the crackling floor. Requested to change the room, managed to get another room but comes with broken powerpoint that is attached to the table. Feedback to the service counter and was told that the powerpoint on the table is not meant to be used and refused to send the technician to fix.. ironically, it is COMPLETELY WORKING in the first room… Also, the lift is SUPER SLOW and only serve up the 6th floor and the room I got was on 7th floor so have to walk up the staircase. Not recommended for people who are inconvenient in this also. The only good thing is its location.

Room was really small, but it was expected for Shanghai. The hotel is located just a stone's throw away from the Nanjing Pedestrian Road, which is one of the biggest landmarks in Shanghai, linking to The Bund. Breakfast was fine, with all the normal food, there's a familymart nearby

the hotel was near to the bund. One things was not very good was the place is not convenient to find something to eat and the hotel room was a bit small to put 2 big 28 inches luggage

The holtel is located near the bund and Nanjin Road, so you can walk there in minutes. You can get a nice view of Oriental Pearl Tower on rooftop.

Good budget hotel near the city center. It is very walkable distance few hundred meters to the Bund. The hotel has 7 floors with restaurant at the top. Hotel it self located in historical buildings but well renovated to modern design. It has nice tea kind of smell/ fragrance. From top of the restaurant you can see some parts of the view which is nice. The room small but adequate plus clean. There are free laundry and dryer for you to use. All in all location is perfect, cheap accommodation, breakfast is ok in sense they have something chinese and western menu.

Location was super convenient but where do i even begin with the negatives. Firstly the ‘window’ in the room faced a block of flats with the windows less than a meter away from mine so there was little sunlight. Although the room i booked wasn’t a smoking one it reeked of cigarettes and the bathroom smelled really bad. As soon as I entered there was hair on the floor, like lots of it. I also noticed a ton of bugs everywhere, from drain flies, to spiders to other random bugs and the stay was just very unpleasant, the hotel is super old and dilapidated. The other major downside was that the hotels lift was so small and slow and just horrible I was on the third floor and had to climb up and down each time, when i ordered delivery even the drivers didn’t want to come up to leave the food so they left it by the building entrance. I wouldn’t recommend this place, even though it’s Shanghai I’m sure you can find a better for the same price as this one.

The hotel is very near to mrt station, Nanjing road, the bund, restaurants... The room is a bit small but is clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast also has a variety of choices.

Room was very small and Im quite tall so that was abit annoying. Its was clean and the location was great so not bad overall. Decent quality for that price and location.

The staffs were really helpful to us when we need to book a taxi to the airport. I also got much help from a cleaning lady and a cleaning man. We were also upgraded to a larger room. One thing that needs improving is the attitude of the male chef in the restaurant in the morning. Others are excellent.

This is one of the Ji hotel chain and the decor is modern and nice and comfy. Bed quality is super. I had a great sleep. Room size is very small if you have 2 big luggages you will struggle to open them if you choose 1st room category. Shower is strong. The only downside is breakfast venue which is way too small and always full. Buffet line is limited and traditional Chinese which can be hard for foreigners. I hope there will be more international choices. Hot milk is never hot and almost ran out every time I was there. They don't refill some items fast enough. The staff did not provide much info during check in. They did not even say which floor the room is or where breakfast is served. Location is close to Nanjing Lu and a small supermarket.
