Kingtown Hotel Plaza Shanghai

Facilities: Very old. Cleanliness: Pretty average, the room had a strong perfume smell. Location: Quite remote, and the surroundings were also just so-so. Service: The service was decent, the staff were quite friendly. Soundproofing was also poor; you could clearly hear the sound of toilets flushing from next door or upstairs.

Excellent location, quiet yet convenient for getting anywhere. The room was a comfortable size and well-laid out, clean, and the service was great. Breakfast was extensive. Definitely worth another stay.

Lots of foreigners staying here. The location is excellent, right by Suzhou Creek, directly opposite the Sihang Warehouse which is just across the bridge. I was traveling with my whole family, including a child who went to Disneyland and elderly parents whose day trips mostly started from People's Square. This hotel was the closest I could find to People's Square where my parents could easily find their way, and the price was acceptable. Dining options are also convenient. It's about 300 meters from the Xinzha Road subway station. Here's a picture of the Sihang Warehouse.

The room was spacious, and the front desk staff were very friendly. Plus, the room was quite clean and hygienic. They also have a free laundry room and a gym, everything you could ask for. If I come back, I'll definitely stay at this hotel again. It's really great!

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and right next to the Suzhou Creek. The lobby is bright and spacious, and the rooms are well-equipped. There's a free gym and laundry room on the first floor. The front desk service was excellent during check-in, very satisfied overall.
