Shanghai Sunshine Hotel (Hongqiao Road Subway Station)

Atmosphere: The environment is beautiful, and the decor and soft furnishings are very thoughtfully designed and unique. Facilities: Actually, before booking this hotel, I'd noticed some negative reviews about noise. Since I was traveling with family, I was really hesitant before booking! But the hotel we'd booked previously, for over a thousand yuan, had very small windows. My family was in town for follow-up medical appointments, and I was worried that staying in such a cramped room for an extended period would be depressing. I figured I'd take a chance, worst case scenario we'd just move. Luckily, the room wasn't as bad as some of the negative reviews suggested. My family was very satisfied, the view was great, and everyone slept well.

My stay at Sunlight Hotel was excellent value for money. The room was spacious and the hygiene details were meticulously maintained, making for a very comfortable experience. The front desk staff were friendly, and both check-in and check-out were seamless. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Definitely a five-star review! I booked a room without breakfast for my May Day trip, and the front desk not only proactively upgraded my room but also thoughtfully prepared a simple breakfast. The attention to detail was incredibly touching, and the front desk service was meticulous and considerate, truly exceeding my expectations. I will definitely stay here again!

Right next to the subway and a commercial area, so the transportation is super convenient. The service is warm and thoughtful, the environment is neat and clean, and the breakfast is quite varied. The rooms are comfortable and tidied up very promptly and thoroughly. Highly recommended, thumbs up!

The room was spotless and clean, and I immediately noticed a subtle, pleasant fragrance in the lobby. My child absolutely loved the robot delivery service! We asked for an extra duvet for our king-sized bed, and it was delivered very promptly. The only minor issue is the hotel's location when using ride-sharing apps. You really need to tell the driver in advance about the turn-off, otherwise, they'll likely miss it. This happened to us a few times. I later checked the navigation myself, and it seems there's a slight issue with the map directions, which often causes drivers to overshoot the entrance.

Overall, I'm very satisfied! For this price, it's really good value for money. The only downside is the soundproofing, which is quite poor, haha.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, mainly because I had a conference at the exhibition center. It's conveniently located near the Hongqiao Road transportation hub, making subway access super easy. The hotel itself is decent, but it's quite close to the elevated highway, so the room noise was a bit of an issue. Everything else was fine though.
