We were not informed that the air con in the room is not working. We went for walking & eating and when we back to hotel then only we realise that hotel air con is not funtioning.
Reason given was old building air compressor needs servicing to switch from hot air to air con & it take few days. So we decide to cancel the booking next day & it was a waste of time to look for new hotel & last minute booking was more costly. Emergency call back to Singapore cost us S$50. It was a terrible experience.

Can’t beat the location, very close to the subway Dashijie like 1 min walking right behind the entrance of the hotel. For breakfast, they have a choice of Chinese and western foods. Problem is they do not turn on AC till mid May so feel a bit hot inside the room. They only asked to open the window.

Stayed here about 4 years ago. Still has high standard is cleanliness, reception is very professional and accommodating. And if you don't speak Chinese no problem. The hotel room is very clean and the bed is mega comfortable. I had a room with the view of West Lake. Will return again. Lastly no too expensive considering you are in Hangzhou and very close to shops, restaurants, metro and West lake.
