Radisson Exhibition Center Shanghai

The amenities, breakfast, and service of this hotel were all adequate and what you might expect for a hotel at this price point. My too main issues center on the cleanliness and comfort of the room: 1.) The room furniture really shows its age/use/lack of cleaning. Both the couch and desk chair were extremely worn and dirty with visible stains throughout (pictures are attached to this review for proof). Because of this, I did not sit on either of them. It makes the room as a whole feel cheap, neglected, and like a lower-end budget hotel. The management needs to clean or replace these items ASAP if they want to maintain a high-quality image. 2.) Although it’s only May, it’s already quite humid and hot in Shanghai. It was super warm when I walked into my room, so I cranked the AC all the way down to 16–yet the room never cooled down a single degree! It was terribly hot and stuffy in the room all night and I had trouble sleep my comfortable due to the high temperature. Like the furniture, it seems like the AC unit needs either some maintenance or to be totally replaced.

Very far from downtown. Swimming pool was cold and it was closed. Swimming pool shower was bit odd and run by private company. Kids cafe was good. We got early check in and late check out so we were really thankful.
