GEM Hotel (Shanghai Bund Nanjing East Road Pedestrian Street shop)

The hotel is located in Nanjing pedestrian street and near the metro station so travel is quite convenient. The room has a very beautiful view overlooking the People's Square. However, for me, the room is a bit small, the wooden floor is a bit steep so walking around often makes a squeaking sound. The hotel is located on the 7th floor of a high-rise building, but if you go at night, it will be a bit difficult to find because the sign leading to the hotel is also a bit small. After checking out, I sent my things back to go out and come back to pick them up in the afternoon, but when I dropped them off and when I picked them up, there was no staff to support me, I was the only one picking them up myself, so I was a bit worried if there was a school. Is there any case of taking someone else's things by mistake or intentionally, because usually other hotels will have to have staff in charge of returning things to you?

The hotel is in a very good location, next to the Metro and easy to travel to the airport. Around the hotel there are restaurants, desserts, coffee, and most importantly, it is located on Nanjing road. I recommend this hotel.

The sound insulation of the house is very poor. It seems to be a party hall or card room next to it. There are a lot of people making noisy noises. It is impossible to sleep, and the place is very small.
