Location, room comfort, hotel condition I chose the Holiday Inn for its location.my late check-in and overnight stay was a very pleasant experience: comfortable bed and pillows, courteous and helpful staff, clean and generous sized room, plus professional service, efficiency and tranquility for business travel. I stayed for almost two weeks and overall it has been a good experience. After a hiccup with a towel, the manager of the hotel ensured that my room was cleaned more thoroughly. The room itself was quite small. The huge glass wall made the room look a bit bigger but for some reason some random people were hanging out right next to the window and I could see trash outside of the window on a regular basis. The breakfast buffet was quite repetitive the first week but got better in the second week. Overall, simple home made style food that I generally enjoyed. I’d recommend this hotel for a short stay. It felt a bit too pricey considering it’s location (far from the city center) and the range of services provided.

I got a special room with breakfast for two (so delicious), it was worth it for me to stay in Shanghai during the typhoon. The hotel staff were very enthusiastic. I heard that there were not many guests during the Mid-Autumn Festival when there was a typhoon!!!
