Expats or University students can easily transition when moving to Minhang District. There are also some nearby sites to see as well as easy bicycle routs.
James Joyce hotels are cost-effective with unique decor. It’s easy to lounge and do work with a coffee or utilize food delivery from this location.
I gave a 4 in amenities only due to need for a gym space separate to the laundry room, and mosquito season might require more attention to treatment. Water pressure fluctuated in temperature, so it’s an easy adjustment to address. I think the wifi works better in the lobby, but it could be the tech I was using. Overall, I stayed four nights and it’s the best option between Line 15&23 pending.
The staff is friendly, attentive, and easy to translate with. The neighboring businesses and community are lovely and very clean. Each floor has a sitting area next to the elevator, and the breakfast view is beautiful. Thanks for the first stay in Shanghai.

I checked in at 8pm. I felt that the quilt and pillow smelled musty and damp. I thought about contacting the housekeeping to change the quilt cover, but the security guard came up and said that the housekeeping staff had gone off work. The security guard smelled of sweat. Girls should avoid this hotel. It's too unsafe. When I changed the quilt cover, I found that the quilt core was very dirty (I wanted to vomit), the shower was also dirty, and the TV was broken.
