W Shanghai - The Bund Reviews

My husband and I had a fabulous stay at W Shanghai- The Bund. The highlights for us were service and attention to detail, along with the amazing brunch! From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed. The welcome staff made sure there were no long waits for anyone checking in, even though it was holiday season. All forms of service- reception, waiters and kitchen staff, room service was impeccable during our every single interaction with them. The next day room service even refilled our ice bucket of complimentary champagne sent up to us as we were celebrating an anniversary. The view from our corner window was superb, especially at night and all the facilities in the king room were amazing to use- shower, bath, bathtub, bed (one of the most comfortable beds ever)! And to top it all off, the breakfast buffet impressed us immensely. The waiters take drink orders once you arrive and help seat you. They have signs everywhere encouraging taking only what you can eat- and we appreciated and seemed to work! However, if you come on an empty stomach- you will be so pleased you did so; the options are just endless with both a huge variety of western and local foods available and it all tastes incredible. We were super satisfied with our stay and would highly recommend it if ever you get the chance!

Stayed the evening and attended the BISS Ball 2024 at the Hotel. The Hotel was fantastic & staff were great throughout the whole stay Evening at the Venue, Hotel Room & Even the breakfast in the morning was amazing. All round great stay.

Amazing stay, the staff were so polite and I felt the warmth of Shanghai thanks to W! Will highly recommend to stay. Spacious & clean rooms as well. I felt so safe. The room overlooks the bund as well which is exceptionally stunning at night. Thank you W for celebrating my birthday as well! 🫶🏻

Very clean and good service. The view is amazing and the staffs are friendly. The staff delivered our parcels to our room. One more point to highlight is that the hotel breakfast has a lot of options. We had a decent stay!

Fantastic hotel, wonderful service, and a breathtaking view. We are very pleased with our stay here. We loved our stay. Their customer service is top notch. Should we come to Shanghai again we will definitely book W hotel again.

This is our fifth stay at this incredible hotel. The perfect place to enjoy the Bund and all that this hotel has to offer. It was my birthday 🥳 whilst we were there, and they arranged a cake and wine to help celebrate (without asking them to do so!). The staff here go out of their way to make you feel special and that every need is catered to. Highly recommend!!

An amazing stay! Loved every day that i spent there! The location was amazing, room extremely clean and the staff were very helpful. I cant wait to go back .

The view from our hotel room was spectacular. The service was good as well. Our room was on the 34th floor and we could see the bund as well, lower floor would be obstructed. Breakfast has a wide variety but taste is okay. We had issue calling for taxi on the checkout day due to an event in the hotel that caused a massive jam in the vicinity of the hotel. The hotel should work on traffic control to avoid causing delay to hotel guest due to such events. We were lucky we left early else we could have missed our flight.

We always have an amazing time here at the W. Our room had the best view of the Shanghai skyline and the Bund. Service was great, pool time was fun, & breakfast buffet was on point. We will be back again.

Too bad this W Hotel does not have a outdoor lounge for Customers to enjoy the night scene along the Bund.
