Hyakumangoku Onsen Hotel

My stay at the Hyakumangoku Onsen Hotel was a unique blend of modern Japanese style and traditional onsen experience. The hotel's architecture and interior design were sleek and contemporary, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere. However, I was disappointed to find that the hot spring was not available for couple usage, which was a major draw for me. Despite being renovated in 2021, some fixtures and soft furnishings showed signs of wear and tear, which detracted from the overall experience. On the plus side, the hotel's location was convenient for visiting Shanghai Disney Land and Shanghai Village, which offered a range of international brands for shopping. Overall, I would recommend the Hyakumangoku Onsen Hotel for its modern take on traditional Japanese hospitality, but with the caveat that some areas may need further attention to detail.

I stayed one night with my family of six. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience of the hot spring, including the beautiful rooms. My elderly mentioned that they would like to come back to use the hotel. The location was great since it was in the Shanghai Disney resort. Hotel provides shuttle buses. And the service in general was great, but it was difficult at times because the clerkes didn’t speak English. But they were very understanding and tried to speak to us through WeChat.. I would highly recommend.
