It was a very good check-in experience. The receptionist at the front desk, Ms. Carol Zhang, had a sweet voice and a friendly tone. I came to check in unexpectedly, and recommended many channels and prices for me to choose according to my needs. I asked thoughtfully about the distance to the elevator. Because I arrived early, there was no big bed, and the twin beds with river view were arranged to be great! The breakfast is also good, rich in variety, and the fried dishes are delicious.

Nothing much nearby. Not for shopping trip. Room is clean and big, strong aircon, but bed quality can be improved. Noticed almost all the appliances in the hotel and toilet amenities are local brand. Good to create local brand awareness and so far everything works well except for their coffee machine in the cafe. Breakfast spread is acceptable but cannot compare to international branded hotels. Coffee is HORRIBLE, please change your coffee machine.. cooked food is cold and not properly covered and saw flies around the food. If you do not have local chinese phone, u cannot connect to their wifi. Television shows all local channels. Price point is almost the same as some international brand names but overall gives off a feeling that they are actually more inclined towards local chinese customers. Staff attitude is excellent but a little too pushy to keep asking you for a 5 star rating review online. Overall still a pleasant stay. Thanks.

Staying here was pretty good, nothing special. I only chose to stay here due to the Reggio Emilia Conference. I loved the breakfast. For me that was the best feature of my stay. My room was adequate, always clean and comfortable. The bed was.comfortable, too. I only have two complaints. The bathtub didn't keep the water in and the heater's him was too loud. I couldn't sleep properly so I was left feeling tired after waking up. Other than that, the hotel was fine. It was a great location for the conference, though.

Every time I come to Shanghai, I live in Youyou Hotel, and this time the family chose an apartment. The room is not too big, but it is compact and well-equipped. There are simple kitchen equipment to make coffee, hot breakfast and so on. The service was very good. It was too hot in Shanghai. We hid in the room and didn't go out. The staff who cleaned the room warmly called and asked when it was convenient to clean. Because there is a sink in the open kitchen, there is a smell of the floor drain, so I told her and helped us deal with it. The disadvantage is that the apartment is a bit old, the facilities are outdated, there are few power plugs, and the floor drain smells bad.

We chosed this hotel because of XIN LIU /Liu Yu Xin XANADU concert Shanghai station (15mins walking distance to the arena). The service, cleanliness, amenities are great and awesome. The staffs are friendly and good especially 小肖 and 乔经理 who helped with our check in. Wanna to give a special shout out to an extremely helpful receptionist guy who helped to pay our cab fare when our Alipay transaction failed, thank you! Location is peaceful and serene. A tranquil stay indeed 👍🏻

I had the best experience at URSIDE in Shanghai. Honestly can’t recommend it enough especially if you are a foreigner as the staff are really friendly and helpful. Hotel is very good location close to the bund. Hotel staff are very courteous. One time I was collecting my laundry at 6am and found they were stashed nice, clean, and folded and put on a shelf for me to collect. Check in times were extremely flexible. These people went above and beyond for you and would recommend this hotel very much!

It’s a nice little hotel right next to West Gaoke Road metro station exit 3. It has a boutique feel to it and I like the retro styling with with all the props and records on the wall. The rooms are fine, but I felt it was a little overpriced for what it was. Especially considering the room was only 22m, and there wasn’t even a proper desk in the room. Sure it had a balcony, but there wasn’t any kind of view, just a nice place to relax if the weather is nice. Other than that it was cosy enough, and the staff are pretty friendly, helpful and provided good service. The breakfast was standard, but fine. One annoyance I do want to mention though, was that I had to go with a member of staff to a nearby police station to register the residence which was the first time I’ve ever had to do that, and I have no idea why. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay, but I’ll check out the other hotels in the area before returning to this one.

We arrived the hotel early in the morning about 8am, very tired from our red eye flight and was allowed to check in immediately. The staff at the lobby and the housekeeper were very kind and generous. I really appreciate their hospitality! We booked a twin room and it was very spacious and very clean. The toilet is top notch because it has one of those fancy bidets haha. The hotel even provide free self service laundry! They provide all the detergent, softener and disinfectant in those little cute bottles. It is located on the 2nd floor and 24hours! Location is also great, just opposite the hotel there is a mall to eat, a convenience store Lawson and a pharmacy. If you take a didi to the bund or to cool areas like xintiandi, it’s only a few dollars and about 10 mins away. Will 100% stay here again! Thank you to all the staff at the lobby once again, they’ve been very kind and helpful whenever I needed assistance. 🫶🏽 the picture attached is a beautiful secret garden we chanced upon which is opposite the hotel too. 🍂🤎🦊

We used to always love staying at the Indigo, but haven’t stayed since covid… We were disappointed as the hotel is starting to look a little tired, things need replacing, breakfast had much less choice than previously available. None the less we booked into the Micheline Char Restaurant for New Years Eve dinner with friends looking forward to a great meal and drinks to celebrate the Year … (the food was great) however at 9:30 we were told we had to leave by 10pm after such an expensive meal and wine it seems ridiculous on any night let alone New Years Eve.. The swimming pool was closed and it wasn’t mentioned until we turned up in our swimsuits to have a swim. It didn’t ruin the stay but I don’t think we’ll be rushing back..
