I enjoyed my stay at Amara. They staff are friendly and the lobby is beautifully decorated for Christmas. I was a bit concerned about the temperature in the room, since it’s a high floor. Also, I was given a room with a conjoined wall / door so the noise level from my neighbors was a bit annoying. But mostly a great place to stay!

This a a cute hotel in a great location if you want to go out in downtown Shanghai, since its surrounded by restaurants and bars. The room is of a good size and although the soundproofing isnt amazing there were no noisy guests on my floor so I slept well and the bed was warm and comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and efficient,and there is a nice cafe downstairs. The sink in the bedroom area is a little odd but that is really the only bad thing I can say.

The hotel appears to be relatively new and so everything was pretty nice and clean. Good design. Location is good if you need to be close to train station, otherwise a bit out of the way.

We would highly recommend this hotel, the staff were very accommodating and helpful. The hotel is very stylish and the food is always fresh. Not to mention the comfortable beds. The service was amazing especially from Lyren who works at the front desk. He was very professional, easy goingand always shows her smile. We had such awonderful experience staying here.And also will come back next time!

Everything was perfect except, upon arrival to our room there was a notice on the table which said the swimming pool would be under maintenance the following day for one week. If you want a hotel with a swimming pool, always call the hotel first to confirm the pool is open since there will be no notice via the trip app before you book or after you book.

I stayed in the Portma Ritz Carlton for 2 nights just after Christmas. The service was excellent, all of the staff went above and beyond to help me. They greeted me by name, remembered my coffee and drink orders and went to great lengths to help me. The staff in the club lounge were amazing, Lisa, Tina, Sunny, Vincent and others. The floor attendant Cici was also so helpful. The location is great, many restaurants around and short walk to The Kerry Center and Jingan temple. definitely recommend!

I stayed here a few times before the epidemic, and it was the first time I stayed after the epidemic. It still tastes the same as before. The Hema downstairs, which was still being renovated when I lived before, is now open; the Line 14, which was still under construction downstairs, is also connected, and the exit is very close to the hotel. The room is very large, and there are only a few households on each floor. It is very quiet. Since there are mostly long-term tenants, there are simple kitchen utensils, microwaves, ovens, washing machines, refrigerators, and coffee machines. The gym has basic equipment and there are few people. Downstairs is Igo Plaza, a cinema and restaurants. There are all department stores, which basically meet my needs. The only fly in the ointment is that the service life is long and the furniture decoration style is a bit old, but I don't care about these (very cautious about this point). In addition, I would like to give the hotel a small opinion. Other electrical appliances are okay. My family had stayed for 3 nights on New Year 2023/2024 trip. It was wonderful place to stay with warm hospitality and clean room. Great breakfast line and cooking food station. Noodle dish was my recommend. In door swimming pool was big enough for children and safe with a lifeguard. It was fantastic.

Everything about this room is amazing. It is clean, tidy, modern, the services well organized and polite, it has character and an amazing location with nice views. The best thing about it though are the people running it, as they are super polite and helpful. I definitely and unreservedly recommend it! I also have a dog and they treated us great, while ensuring of course we take care of the flat. All was done with great politeness and grace. I m super happy with them!

Booked for six nights in total. The first three nights were a big round bed. The bed was quite big, but the room was not big enough. The bathroom and bath were fat and couldn't turn around. This was a design problem. The next three nights were much better, but the exhaust fan in the bathroom was too loud and affected sleep. Good health and good service attitude. Food and transportation outside the hotel are convenient. To make a suggestion, it is indeed convenient to provide a washing machine in the room, but there is no place to dry clothes (not washed), it is better to get a laundry room and put two washing machines on the dryer, which is convenient and clean.

Wonderful studio apt that’s next to subway lines 7/13. The room is clean, bright and airy and overlooks the main street. Even so, it’s still pretty quiet night for those who are light sleepers. There is a kitchen counter with a hot water kettle and microwave but no stove top. I extended my stay before the lockdown and am glad I’m able to be comfortable under special circumstances. Hosts are wonderful and very responsive if any issues should happen.
