It has a very Chinese style and is quiet in the middle of the hustle and bustle. I have been planning to stay at this hotel for a long time. Because I was returning from Pudong Airport, I finally had the opportunity to check in and experience it. The waiters were very enthusiastic and patient, and every waiter I met was very considerate. When I checked in, there was honey water at night and Pu'er tea during the day. They were super considerate. The room was very comfortable, especially the bedding. I had a good sleep. ! The breakfast is also quite good, with a complete range of categories, exquisite and full of care, and the rice noodles are super delicious! P.S. I wanted to go to Yuangu to check in for afternoon tea before (check-in will give you afternoon tea)

We chosed this hotel because of XIN LIU /Liu Yu Xin XANADU concert Shanghai station (15mins walking distance to the arena). The service, cleanliness, amenities are great and awesome. The staffs are friendly and good especially 小肖 and 乔经理 who helped with our check in. Wanna to give a special shout out to an extremely helpful receptionist guy who helped to pay our cab fare when our Alipay transaction failed, thank you! Location is peaceful and serene. A tranquil stay indeed 👍🏻

I have never given a negative review on Ctrip, and this time I really have to give a big bad review. Let’s talk about the advantages first: all the staff I encountered were greeted with smiles, and they were serious about solving problems. The service was excellent, but the various hardware and supporting facilities were compromised. The problems I encountered in just two nights include: 1. The air conditioner was cold. On the first night of my stay, the air conditioner was turned on for most of the day and I felt cold even when I showered. 2. The design of the room circulation and facilities is super unreasonable. The shower and bathtub are together without any partition. The door is opened at both ends and cannot be completely closed. Moreover, I did not see anywhere to put clean clothes or change dirty clothes from beginning to end... ...I don’t know if there is any special purpose behind this design, I’m sorry I can’t get it. 3. The water temperature in the bathroom cannot be raised. The answer we received was that the floor we live on has not been occupied for a long time, so it will take a long time for the water to get hot... And we have already stayed on the second night, and the water is still not hot... This Do you think the reason is scientific? 4. The breakfast is hard to describe. It feels like foreigners are trying hard to make Chinese food. It doesn’t matter that the breakfast buffet has few choices. The wontons and noodles are kept warm in a thermos bucket. What’s the point of adding soup when the guests want to eat... and takeaways? no difference. Objectively speaking, the Western-style breakfast is okay, and the coffee is delicious, but the Chinese food is really unnecessary. 5. The front desk phone always fails to get through. It is no exaggeration to say that it takes at least 3 calls every night to get through. This is why I gave up the complaint on the first night. If I have time to call, I might as well solve the problem by myself. As a result, I still had to call several times on the second night before getting through, and the reply I got was that I was talking to other guests at the time. It's so busy that there is only one person working at the front desk at night. This is the only complaint I have about the service. Finally, although the exterior design of the hotel is still very unique, I advise those with children to stick to the Shangri-La next door. Don’t be like me and think about trying a new hotel. This hotel is really unfriendly to families with children.

My family and I had the plan to go to Walt Disney Shanghai so I checked this hotel I that was Brand New and just opened so I decided make the reservation; During my all time staying in the hotel I was truly impressed by the high quality and fancy decoration Hotel also the location super convenient near by the mall and obviously the level of service provided and dedication on especial to Miss Sheryn that helped me to settle down my Disney Tickets. From the moment I arrived, the staff exhibited unparalleled professionalism, attentiveness, and a genuine commitment to ensuring a positive guest experience. The attention to detail, courtesy, and prompt assistance were evident in every interaction. Notably super kind and professional as soon as I saw Miss Sheryn I immediately remembered her face, “She was working as a manager in other Hotel in Hongqiao area” that always had super attitude to helped me and my colleagues during the pandemic to get PCR test QRs etc (for sure too many foreigners and Locals must remember Miss Sheryn)… attitude and kindness to help maintain until nowadays specially because with people that we don’t speak Chinese…. The exemplary customer service skills and willingness to accommodate requests left a lasting impression. Noticed this hotel also has 4 hourly rates which means.... Rooms are decently clean albeit small. Bed is comfy, aircon is cold, hot water for shower is good. Disposable toiletries are given upon check in. No amenities except laundry. Able to accommodate early check in if rooms are ready. Thus is good for foreigners.

I turned the air conditioner on at 30 degrees and used maximum wind for several hours. The temperature near the floor was still 21.6 degrees (I brought a thermometer), and my feet would be very cold at night. Card charging: The room needs to be plugged in to have electricity. That means if no one is around during the day, there is no way to turn on the air conditioner to pre-warm the room. There is no washing machine, not in the room or in the public area. Only one suite had a washing machine installed in the room by a previous guest. Customers who need to do laundry are advised to call the front desk to see if the suite is available before booking a room.
