Nice public balcony with good views. Service is friendly. Food at the cafe is nice. Room is clean but toilet facilities can be improved. Will be good if clothe hangers are provided in the room.

Very nice place on the Tiger Leaping Gorge trek. The room was pretty basic, but no complaints. Food so so.

The location of the halfway house was great. Right in front of the mountains and easily connects to the path on the way down. The service was good, they had an English menu and spoke some English. Very friendly and kind. The room is standard but cozy with a beautiful view. The bed was comfy and clean. The air is so cool and nice that having no AC is not a problem. We slept with the balcony opened and had no issue. I definitely recommend the room to anyone doing the hike. It was breathtaking view that you can’t experience anywhere else.

The hotel is wall located for take rest during the trek. Really beautifull view on the mountain. The food was good. Room is basic, not really clean but enough for one night.

Great GH on the hiking trail in Tigerleaping gorge. We had so much fun with the Korean travel group and the spontaneous flute concert! Rooms are clean, food was good and all staff was very nice. Communication in English was also very good and helpful. The GH is clearly marked on the treck and easy to find For those who want to hike the upper treck (highly recommended!) try to arrange transport directly to the 28bends (28拐 / er shi ba guai). We took the shuttle bus to the tiger leaping gorge scenic spot but it drops you off at a big viewing platform on the street and far from the hiking trail. We ended up walking by the street and getting a ride with a local woman passing us

Adored our stay at the guesthouse. We had a lovely private room with a balcony. Food is good and reasonably priced. Lovely view from the bar upstairs. Will 100% return!

Has its reputation for a reason, it’s a pretty place. Guy at the reception and bar spoke good English, room was comfy and not too cold at night. Unfortunately (As of January 2024) they have massive construction going on, which really killed the vibe. Better avoid until they are done.

This property strives to evolve. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the scenery is amazing.

Always a pleasant stay! The hosts were welcoming and super helpful, despite the busy season and many travelers to see to. The location is beautiful, with views up and down the gorge, and nice areas to sit both indoors and outdoors. Would definitely recommend others to stay here and take a nice hike or two along the gorge!

Long way up, but definitely worth it. Staff is really nice and friendly and the Tigerbucks cafe is awesome!!

amazing guest house in the middle of the tiger leaping gorge trekking trails when I visited here few years ago, there were only a few guests, and most of them were foreigners but now there are many local guests here that it's hard to stay unless you book in advance don't forget to go up to the observation deck at night to see the stars, it's a great memory that will last a lifetime, not to mention the spectacular mountain views my foreign credit card registered with alipay didn't work here, so if you're using a foreign credit card, be sure to bring cash

I highly recommend people who love nature like me do 2 days trekking in Tiger leaping Geoge and stay in Haftway for 1 night.

I enjoyed my stay at Halfway, it is popular and great view for obvious reasons. Nice staff. However the bathroom light should be improved. Other than that, def worth staying there:)
