"Where do I even begin? My overall experience was simply fantastic. Let's start with the courtyard. The entrance has a rustic charm, and the whole courtyard feels elegant and serene. It's clear the owner converted their own home into this guesthouse. There are so many beautiful flowers and plants thriving in the yard, especially a cluster of multi-petaled roses. You can tell the owner has a real passion for life. There are also several cats and two sheep in the courtyard; one of the blue cats has gotten quite chunky and is absolutely adorable! The place feels so lively, and there's a strong sense of local ethnic culture, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The owner contacted us in advance about pick-up and drop-off. The young man who picked us up was very kind – I think he's the owner's son. He reached out to us beforehand and even helped with our luggage. Because the guesthouse isn't on the main street, it's very quiet and perfect for relaxing (though it's still very close to the main street, just a short walk away). Then there's the important part: the room. Since it was the off-season, the guesthouse was pretty quiet, and the owner let us choose our own room. The room has an overall wooden structure, and the decor has a strong, beautiful ******* feel. It was spotlessly clean and tidy, equipped with an oxygen concentrator and a humidifier. In winter, there's underfloor heating and electric blankets – everything you could possibly need. All toiletries were also provided. Next up, breakfast. The owner herself cooked millet porridge, steamed buns, and eggs, along with some side dishes. The matsutake mushroom and meat sauce were especially delicious! They went perfectly with the meal. Now, about the owner's family – they are all incredibly warm and friendly. Chatting with them, you realize they're genuinely kind people. They even gave us recommendations for attractions and tips for our visit. If we came back late and saw the owner, she'd always greet us with a few kind words. Although we only stayed for a short two days, we felt a real sense of belonging. Words can't fully express it, but I'll definitely recommend this place if I come back to Shangri-La or if any friends visit. Finally, I wish the owner lasting joy and health, and a thriving business."

"Our first stop in Shangri-La was the Muka Manor. It's about a 10-minute drive from Shangri-La Station to the hotel. As soon as we entered the manor, we were absolutely stunned by the gorgeous views of the Napa Lake meadows. The entire estate felt so comfortable and relaxing; it truly felt like a perfect vacation. Every spot was picture-perfect, and I took so many beautiful photos of the kids. The afternoon tea restaurant upstairs also offered stunning views. In the evening, we even got to experience a Tibetan-style hot pot tea ceremony, which was a very unique memory. If I get the chance to come back, I'll definitely stay for a couple more days!"

"This hotel is perfect for families with kids. There are many animals, and my child had a wonderful time playing with them. The three Alaskan Malamutes, Xiao Qi, Meiduo, and Coffee, are especially adorable and well-behaved. During our stay in Shangri-La, my child only wanted to play with the animals at the hotel and had no interest in sightseeing. So, we mainly focused on relaxing and spent most of our time at the hotel. Additionally, the hotel staff provided excellent and attentive service, which we were all very satisfied with."

"The room was clean and tidy, and the landlady was incredibly nice. They even offered a pick-up service from Shangri-La High-Speed Rail Station. The guesthouse is located right in the ancient town, with convenient transportation nearby and close proximity to attractions. Highly recommended! Highly recommended! Highly recommended!"

"Great location, within walking distance to the North Gate of Dukezong Ancient City. The hotel staff were all warm, attentive, and very responsive to requests. The room was clean and bright with complete amenities, and the oxygen supply system was genuinely effective. The breakfast was plentiful, and they even prepared sweet soup in the evenings."

"The hotel experience exceeded my expectations! The lobby features a charming Tibetan-style decor, perfect for taking photos. The rooms are equipped with smart home controls, which are convenient and easy to use, and there's even an oxygen concentrator, making it especially reassuring for those experiencing altitude sickness. The guest rooms are spacious, bright, and have excellent natural light. The location is superb, very close to Dukezong Ancient Town, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and sightseeing. The staff are warm and attentive, paying attention to detail. The public areas have washing machines and dryers, which are incredibly useful for doing laundry while traveling. This hotel offers excellent value for money and I highly recommend it!"

"1. The hygiene was terrible. As soon as I entered the room and was about to use the toilet, I noticed a lot of yellow liquid on the toilet seat when I was putting on the toilet cover. It was very obvious. Don't they even clean something as basic as the toilet? How disgusting. Then I called the hotel staff, and there was no apology, no regretful attitude, and no compensation. They just changed our room to another one on the third floor, which had no elevator. I already suffer from altitude sickness, and having to climb three flights of stairs every time I went back to the room made me dizzy and out of breath. Also, the facilities were extremely old. Even the door lock was a manual one, which wasted time locking and unlocking every time I went in and out, adding to my discomfort from altitude sickness. 2. They kept trying to sell us their equestrian center. In reality, a grassland ride is 480 RMB per hour without an instructor if you ride by yourself. If you want an instructor, you have to pay an additional 200 RMB. When booking the room, it said it included a 10-minute 'riding' experience at the equestrian center, right? I contacted the center and wanted to use it since it was free. I also thought, since I'm already there, I might as well spend 380 RMB to try their 45-minute equestrian center ride. However, when I got there, first, the 380 RMB for 45 minutes included 15 minutes of instruction, and the remaining 30 minutes was just riding in circles in a small enclosure. Is that worth the price? I figured it wasn't worth it, so I said I'd just do the free 10-minute ride. But then they told me that 10 minutes wasn't even riding; it was just 10 minutes of pure explanation and teaching me how to get on and off the horse. I said that was a complete scam. Then they said I could exchange it for an 88 RMB two-lap ride. None of this was what was advertised as '10 minutes of riding' when I booked the room. I paid over 900 RMB per night when I booked, which isn't cheap. The hygiene was subpar, there was no customer service, the facilities were old, the food was mediocre, and the complimentary activities were misleading. Definitely avoid this place. I won't even mention the other services; they were just average."
