It boasts a large ranch with many small animals, a coffee shop, and cabins, making it perfect for couples, families, or those traveling with children. **Amenities:** As expected from a high-end hotel in a high-altitude region, it had all the essentials: oxygen concentrators, humidifiers, and more. **Cleanliness:** Spotlessly clean, with disposable toiletries provided. **Environment:** Words can't do it justice – just look at the pictures! Once checked in, I didn't leave the hotel. I changed into local attire for photos, interacted with the animals, enjoyed coffee at the café, and savored local specialties. There are also three resident dogs, and they just had a litter of puppies! I spent every free moment strolling around the ranch. **Service:** I have to give a special shout-out to the staff. They were incredibly warm and attentive, always greeting guests with a smile. From the moment I checked in, I felt truly comfortable. I experienced slight altitude sickness, and they immediately helped me set up the oxygen concentrator and even provided an extra oxygen tube! **Grassland Ranch ******* Costume Experience:** There were many styles to choose from, and it was a complimentary experience. **"Activity Land" Pet Feeding:** Scheduled feeding times for the animals were super fun! **"Fruit Gift" Seasonal Shangri-La Fruits:** An endless supply of fruit!"

The most important is the owner are very, they are very helpful to pick us up from train station and drop us when we were leaving . "Where do I even begin? My overall experience was simply fantastic. Let's start with the courtyard. The entrance has a rustic charm, and the whole courtyard feels elegant and serene. It's clear the owner converted their own home into this guesthouse. There are so many beautiful flowers and plants thriving in the yard, especially a cluster of multi-petaled roses. You can tell the owner has a real passion for life. There are also several cats and two sheep in the courtyard; one of the blue cats has gotten quite chunky and is absolutely adorable! The place feels so lively, and there's a strong sense of local ethnic culture, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The owner contacted us in advance about pick-up and drop-off. The young man who picked us up was very kind – I think he's the owner's son. He reached out to us beforehand and even helped with our luggage. Because the guesthouse isn't on the main street, it's very quiet and perfect for relaxing (though it's still very close to the main street, just a short walk away). Then there's the important part: the room. Since it was the off-season, the guesthouse was pretty quiet, and the owner let us choose our own room. The room has an overall wooden structure, and the decor has a strong, beautiful ******* feel. It was spotlessly clean and tidy, equipped with an oxygen concentrator and a humidifier. In winter, there's underfloor heating and electric blankets – everything you could possibly need. All toiletries were also provided. Next up, breakfast. The owner herself cooked millet porridge, steamed buns, and eggs, along with some side dishes. The matsutake mushroom and meat sauce were especially delicious! They went perfectly with the meal. Now, about the owner's family – they are all incredibly warm and friendly. Chatting with them, you realize they're genuinely kind people. They even gave us recommendations for attractions and tips for our visit. If we came back late and saw the owner, she'd always greet us with a few kind words. Although we only stayed for a short two days, we felt a real sense of belonging. Words can't fully express it, but I'll definitely recommend this place if I come back to Shangri-La or if any friends visit. Finally, I wish the owner lasting joy and health, and a thriving business."

The guesthouse itself is an authentic ******* courtyard, with carved wooden decorations and a wonderful aroma of ******* incense, creating a truly immersive atmosphere. The rooms are clean and tidy, equipped with oxygen supply and underfloor heating, which easily combats any altitude sickness. The staff are warm and attentive; they greeted us with heartwarming butter tea upon check-in, and you can even try on ******* clothes for photos. It's a peaceful and comfortable retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, perfect for a healing stay in Shangri-La."

"This review comes purely from my personal experience, and this place offers 100% amazing value for money! It completely redefined my perception of a guesthouse stay. I've always loved ******* culture, so when I came to the ******* area, I chose Sangzhu Boutique House. From the moment I walked in, the experience was fantastic. First, the butler warmly greeted me and presented me with a Hada (a traditional ceremonial scarf). Stepping further in, there were various lounge areas on both sides, and even a Thangka painting experience zone. Going one more level in, you'd find the front desk, with a beautifully decorated Tibetan-style reception area. After checking in, I proceeded to the accommodation area. I went up to the second floor, to a suite that had been upgraded. The traditional door lock opened to reveal ******* paintings and two exquisite ******* copper ornaments – truly stunning. Inside was the living room, where a welcome afternoon tea was laid out. The butter tea was delicious, and the yogurt, cookies, and other treats were all excellent. The bedroom was further inside. The side door to the bedroom led to a meticulously designed bathroom, with a copper bathtub and sink that felt incredibly authentic. The curtains and ceiling throughout the suite showcased a carefully crafted ******* style. The restaurant was also beautifully set up, with fresh flowers on the dining tables. The staff even taught us how to make Tsampa (a traditional ******* staple), which was a great experience. The butler service was impeccable. Every experience, from the hardware facilities to the decorations and arrangements, made me feel that a lot of thought and care had been put in, with a customer-centric philosophy. Absolutely exceptional value for money! Finally, due to altitude sickness, I had to leave earlier than planned. The staff immediately helped me with the check-out process and assisted with my luggage, which I greatly appreciated. Everything about this place left me extremely satisfied. "Great location, right outside the North Gate of the Old City. It's just a few minutes' walk to the North Gate, and if you turn left when you exit the hotel, you can take Cangfang Street alley straight to Dazhuantong Square. They also have their own parking lot, which is very convenient."
