The location was really breathtaking, simply wonderful. The room was cleand and cozy (even had electric blankets to keep you warm in place of air conditioning!) and restaurant served tasty, Chinese dishes in good prices. Overall, the experience - together with the hike - was very nice but it has to be noted that in case of the simplest no-bathroom room, the shared public toilet and bathroom is quite a disgusting experience. We've seen a lot and this one 'topped' it all.

The store is very enthusiastic, and gave us tea and snacks as soon as we went. When we arrived, the wind was very strong. We asked Luke that it was not suitable to go to the waterfall. The branches would break and it was very dangerous. We also went to the walnut orchard recently. I suggest that you can ask Luke before going out. The inn is authentic, very quiet, and the scenery is also very good. The host lives here. There is a small vegetable garden that is very comfortable. The vegetables are all grown by ourselves. The hostess is very good at cooking. The two lines we went to were all roads maintained by Luke, which is amazing. The waterfall is a bit dangerous, so be careful. In addition, the scenery on the road to Haba is not seen in Tiger Leaping Gorge, so it is worth going. The traffic is not very convenient. If you are tired and don't want to walk back to the bridge, you can ask Li Ke to send it down for a fee. In short, you can feel the customs of the village, please treat everything with a tolerant heart. Luke's is a great place to relax. It's much quieter and cosier than the guesthouses on the main trekking route. The food is great, straight from the garden, and the views are spectacular. 30 mins to the east is a 1000 year old walnut grove which is worth the visit in itself but from there, there is a trek that leads to Haba. We went on the 5 hour return trek that has spectacular views right to the end of the Tiger leaping gorge. It makes the two day trek from Qiaotou seem somewhat lacking. There is another short hike to a waterfall which is a little nerve-wracking if you have even a tiny bit of vertigo but nerveless provides great views back up the valley towards Qiaotou.
