The hotel I chose from Yubeng was based on the idea that even if my legs were disabled, I could see Songzanlin Temple from the room, and I was not disappointed. The Songzanlin Temple in the inn is less than three minutes away. The room has large floor-to-ceiling windows to clearly see the temple. Whether eating or sleeping, you can clearly see the temple. The room facilities are also very complete, no different from star hotels. The bathroom has a heater and plenty of hot water. The Tibetan couple who run the inn are very patient and responsive. Especially the Tibetan proprietress, who is very good at Tibetan and Chinese food. The inn includes breakfast. We were not used to the Tibetan breakfast on the first day, and changed to a Chinese breakfast on the second day. Although it is simple, it tastes good. There is also their yak hot pot, which is so delicious that 5 people can't finish it in one pot. Before leaving, I also bought their homemade yogurt crisps. I am not used to eating them, but they are made naturally as souvenirs.

The first Songtsam trip was dedicated to the first Songtsam hotel: Green Valley Mountain Residence. Start with this Tibetan cultural hotel that grew out of a dirt road. It feels like home, very comfortable, warm and relaxing, like going home. In addition to Songtsam's unique hotel hardware, the service is as warm and borderline as returning home. The most impressive experience for us, which can be said to be engraved in our memory and can be treasured for a lifetime, was when a Songzan butler named Lu took my best friend and me to Songzanlin Temple to explain it. This was my second time visiting Songzanlin Temple. , the first time I was attracted by the majestic appearance of the temple, I took pictures on the opposite side of the lake, climbed the temple steps without entering the temple. This time I kept my glasses on Master Lu the whole time, for fear of hearing something. Master Lu is no longer a commentator in the traditional sense. His naive expression is very similar to that of Maitreya Buddha. His small stature can contain infinite wisdom. The sound is rich and carries the sound of heaven and earth. You can feel how thoroughly he understands the essence of Tibetan Buddhism and how much he loves and identifies with Songtsan. He will also add his own understanding as a human being to make obscure Buddhist knowledge or stories so easy to understand and come to life, so that we, travelers immersed in the world, can aspire to ”practice in the world of mortals”. Great location. Short walk to the entrance of Songzan Temple. Even shorter walk to the scenic loop around the lake area (although the lake had been drained when I was there as they are doing a significant renovation of the scenic area). Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is nice, especially the Qingke Bing (barley cake). Beds are comfortable. Plenty of very hot water for the shower.
