I love it this guesthouse as I feeling more familiar. They're so kind and good advice. Her kids is cute ! Possible on place of the restaurant and breakfast. I would like someday i come back here without hesitate! I recommend high !

Staying at Tavern hostel made our holiday in Shangrila really special! The hostel is located in the old town, close to everything. The room was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. The owners are extemely friendly, very experienced and always ready to help with anything. We had many interesting chats and they recommended an amazing hiking trip to us. The hostel was lively with guests from all over the world and it offers a great chance to make new friends. Also, don't miss out on the food they can cook for you there! We had delicious yak burgers. 100% recommended!

We had a lovely stay at the Tavern hostel and were warmly welcomed by Christin. The a**osphere was very friendly. Christin helped us to organise our way to Yubeng, book a van, and with buses and even a taxi to the bus station on our way back. It was very helpful to have an English speaker like her. We ended staying for 3 nights there and left a backpack there while going hiking. The room was very clean and cosy, equipped with heating and heating blankets. We also had drinks and dinner at the hostel. Delicious Korean food as the husband is also a local guide and Korean.
Thank you again. We hope to come back to Shangri-La!
