Hotel Khimtsang mixes traditional and modern designs in a minimalist style. The room has floor heatings, bed is firm and comfortable with warm fluffy duvets, shower is hot and strong with heating lights for the cold weather.
But what truly makes this hotel special is the people. The hotel owners and staff all go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable. They have been extremely hospitable and kind to me as a solo traveller. I felt very welcomed at Hotel Khimstang as they took extra care to ensure I was well adjusted. This will definitely be my hotel of choice if I came back to Shangri-La again.

Treasure hotel! Recommend everyone to stay here when visiting Shangri-La! The room is warm and cozy, the decoration is unique, and there is an underground art exhibition! Mantou has a stable and cute personality! Everyone’s service attitude is very good. Shangri-La is so beautiful! Come and play again next time!

The Tibetan guy at the front desk was very enthusiastic and gave very pertinent suggestions. The locals in Shangri-La are all very pure. Very cute and honest. The folk customs are simple and enthusiastic.
