I love this place so much. Napaihai Lake is just 300 meters away from the homestay and resort provide free ******* costume for all hotel guests. Very friendly staffs and clean rooms.

It is a very nice hotel to stay and nearby to napahai lake. The hotel is so beautiful. They also provide free ******* costume to wear. We got a few free rides also from the hotel. They are super friendly towards us. Very happy to stay here and thank you for your great service!😬👍🏻

Great service and hospitality provided by owner. Toilet and room are very clean. This place is very peaceful and far from town which will make you very relax and enjoy your holiday

We stayed at the Aurora Hotel for a night in December and couldn’t have been happier with our experience - Cimu was extremely kind and welcoming, and she was just as warm as she appeared in the documentary we watched of her hotel before booking our stay. Upon arrival, Cimu provided us with a variety of traditional ******* clothing to wear for photos. She was extremely accommodating and patient in helping us choose our outfits. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, a perfect balance between traditional and modern architecture. The rooms were just as lovely and very comfortable - the heated floors and warm beds felt wonderful after a cold night outdoors, and the view of the sunrise and mountains from the windows in the attached tea room was breathtaking. Cimu’s natural talent for design and hospitality is evident in every detail, and we’ll definitely be returning the next time we visit Shangri-La!

Everyone at the hotel is super nice. It’s a few minutes walk to Napahai. Meals are good and plentiful. You get to put on traditional clothes. It’s a plus if you know Cimu’s story.

Awesome experience at Renqing Cimu Resort (Aurora Hotel). Very warm hospitality by Cimu and family members, lovely dinner and aromatic coffee. Location was wonderful as we love the walk to Napahai area with horses grazing by the lake and mountain view :)

It's one of the best inns I've ever stayed. Cozy environment and great views. The owner was greatly generous and passionate. Plus you could try out the local traditional ethnic costumes for free. I couldn't think of one single reason why I won't visit here again. Highly recommend!

The experience staying at Renqing Cimu’s Court is incredible. We only wanted to stay away from crowd when we were looking for hotels in Shangri-La. We never expected to be able to find this jewel. It’s located about 20 minutes drive from the city, right at the edge of Napahai lake and grassland. We enjoyed amazing views of the grassland from our room’s tea patio. The hotel is equipped with all modern features without compromising on the precious traditional ******* styles and details. Everything was beautifully done. The horse riding activity near the Court was one of the most memorable experience we had on the whole Yunan trip - breathtaking sceneries and incredibly fun for my children. The most amazing was the owner - Renqing Cimu - a young ******* lady who is kind, warm, smart, passionate, strong and beautiful. Her family rallied around her to run the Court seamlessly. I unexpectedly found out that she was featured in a couple of documentary series which told stories about her journey from a young village girl to a visionary business owner. The stories are inspiring and heartwarming. I would recommend anyone reading this review to check out the series (Japanese Director Takeuchi Ryo‘s 2011 “Yangtze River: A Great Travelogue of Heaven and Earth” episode 1; and a follow up 2023 series “The Yangtze River” episode 2) I can’t recommend Renqing Cimu’s place enough. And I sincerely hope she continues on her impressive journey and realize all her dreams.

Hands down the best value hotel I've experienced in China. And what an experience it was. From the historical, immaculately maintained building to the spacious and carefully designed rooms, to the gracious and hospitable extended family running the hotel. Highly recommended for both seekers of calm and adventure!

The hotel is a gorgeous building in ******* style right by the lake. The family that runs the place is super supportive and approachable. The yak hot pot at the hotel restaurant is generous and accompanied by lots of veggies. The dinning room itself is a cozy place with lots of carved wood and a majestic trunk of a tree at the middle.

Cimu, one of the protagonists of the documentary "Meeting the Yangtze River Again", was really moved to see Cimu, who was 18 years old 10 years ago, and Cimu, who opened a hotel 10 years later, so I decided to support him. Cimu's sister gave everyone a Hada when we entered the door. Cimu herself was even more beautiful and capable than in the documentary. She did everything herself, helping us wear ******* clothes, cook breakfast and chat. We had two meals at Cimu's house, yak beef hot pot and stir-fried dishes, both of which tasted good. Before leaving, Cimu personally saw us off and gave us a bag full of snacks. I came here for the sentiment and was very satisfied. I strongly recommend that if you come to Shangri-La, don't miss this place to see the simple and sincere Tibetans and Cimu who is struggling to realize his ideals.

The B&B is very well run. When you enter the door, you will be offered Hada, and then you will be led into the room. All of this is done by the Tsim family. The breakfast and dinner are very rich. During breakfast, Tsim's sister's daughter also gave me a rice dumpling and a skewer of meat, which was very cute. It was a pleasant journey. I wish the Tsim family a prosperous business and all the best. Looking forward to meeting next time.

I rarely write reviews. I traveled with friends and they booked the hotel so I followed them. I found out it was opened by Cimu when I arrived. I saw it on Weibo. The room was very good. We were given a free upgrade to a family room. There were many details in the room, such as a humidifier, fruit, drinking water, etc. We were sent to the high-speed rail station and the ancient city by the inn. In addition, the scenery outside the house was very good. There were also free ******* clothes and free makeup. A lot of dinner was also given, and the butter tea and barley cakes were very good. In short, I was very satisfied and felt that Cimu really worked hard.
