The hotel was so beautiful. The wood of building structure makes every angle of the hotel is unique. It reminds me of Istana Seri Menanti in Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. We just stayed in the room and enjoy the view. The Sunset and sunrise. The owner named Renqing Cimu Mei was so kind. She helped us in wearing traditional clothes - tibet. She also helped us in paying our dinner at the dukezong halal restaurant since that restaurant didn't receive Ali Pay. We're panicked at that time and so relieved when Renqing Cimu helped us. She also pickup and send us back to the railway station and give us some souvenirs. We're so happy with the hospitality that given by her. For sure we will comeback with my big family of 12, with extra days of staying, riding the horse, and let my 2 years old niece play with the sheep. Thank you, Renqing Cimu Mei. May god bless you and may your business continue to prosper. Recommendation: Maybe you can open a small shop at the lobby and sell white tshirts that printed your hotel name or napa hai lake view or any beautiful nature view in xianggelila. The guests can buy it and bring back to their hometown and will always remember the memories being in your hotel.

This is the best guesthouse/hotel i’ve checked in during my trip to China. I would say 💯 the best. From the host, the services, the room & everything! The best part is they provide ******* outfit for their guests and its for free. You can wear the costume & gontk Napa Lake which is only 5 minutes walking from the hotel. Take photos as much as you want. One of the host also is very good with English. I give A+ for that. The room is superb, i love the vibes of this hotel! And the beautiful host send us to the railway station for free! I really appreciate it! Definitely will recommend it to my friends and fellow

I love this place so much. Napaihai Lake is just 300 meters away from the homestay and resort provide free ******* costume for all hotel guests. Very friendly staffs and clean rooms.

We stayed at the Aurora Hotel for a night in December and couldn’t have been happier with our experience - Cimu was extremely kind and welcoming, and she was just as warm as she appeared in the documentary we watched of her hotel before booking our stay. Upon arrival, Cimu provided us with a variety of traditional ******* clothing to wear for photos. She was extremely accommodating and patient in helping us choose our outfits. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, a perfect balance between traditional and modern architecture. The rooms were just as lovely and very comfortable - the heated floors and warm beds felt wonderful after a cold night outdoors, and the view of the sunrise and mountains from the windows in the attached tea room was breathtaking. Cimu’s natural talent for design and hospitality is evident in every detail, and we’ll definitely be returning the next time we visit Shangri-La!

Everyone at the hotel is super nice. It’s a few minutes walk to Napahai. Meals are good and plentiful. You get to put on traditional clothes. It’s a plus if you know Cimu’s story.

Awesome experience at Renqing Cimu Resort (Aurora Hotel). Very warm hospitality by Cimu and family members, lovely dinner and aromatic coffee. Location was wonderful as we love the walk to Napahai area with horses grazing by the lake and mountain view :)

It's one of the best inns I've ever stayed. Cozy environment and great views. The owner was greatly generous and passionate. Plus you could try out the local traditional ethnic costumes for free. I couldn't think of one single reason why I won't visit here again. Highly recommend!

The experience staying at Renqing Cimu’s Court is incredible. We only wanted to stay away from crowd when we were looking for hotels in Shangri-La. We never expected to be able to find this jewel. It’s located about 20 minutes drive from the city, right at the edge of Napahai lake and grassland. We enjoyed amazing views of the grassland from our room’s tea patio. The hotel is equipped with all modern features without compromising on the precious traditional ******* styles and details. Everything was beautifully done. The horse riding activity near the Court was one of the most memorable experience we had on the whole Yunan trip - breathtaking sceneries and incredibly fun for my children. The most amazing was the owner - Renqing Cimu - a young ******* lady who is kind, warm, smart, passionate, strong and beautiful. Her family rallied around her to run the Court seamlessly. I unexpectedly found out that she was featured in a couple of documentary series which told stories about her journey from a young village girl to a visionary business owner. The stories are inspiring and heartwarming. I would recommend anyone reading this review to check out the series (Japanese Director Takeuchi Ryo‘s 2011 “Yangtze River: A Great Travelogue of Heaven and Earth” episode 1; and a follow up 2023 series “The Yangtze River” episode 2) I can’t recommend Renqing Cimu’s place enough. And I sincerely hope she continues on her impressive journey and realize all her dreams.
