The best location with an amazing view. The staff is most helpful and kind. When you book they take care of sigthseeing tours in the area such as the shangri-la great canyon and mountain 佛塔. We come back again to see this beautiful area during summer.

Very pleasant stay. Must read the story about its development to appreciate the efforts behind a man with love to his hometown and his perseverance to make things happen. Warm welcome by hotel staff and good organisation of the activities. Foods are delicious, too.

Clean and neat .Service is exellent

Not worth the money. It is extremely far. We arrived and after paying their high prices we had a room without views. We had chosen a room called panoramic room viee and we got a view to a wall. I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you can call and be sure what room will be given. There are no elevators neither. You have to transport your stuff upstairs.

Beautiful spot in an ancient ******* village with the most picturesque scenery at every angle. The staff were amazing and attentive. The tour to the mountain trip was breathtaking. Recommend to request 2nd or 3rd floor rooms for best view.

It is far more than hotel , it is a unique experience! Hotel is located in a beautiful village where extremely beautiful and hospitable people are leaving. I can not praise hotel management high enough for the level of comfort and care they created in such a remote place. Hotel offers a free pick up and the road is an independent adventure itself. The rooms have stunning views, food was great both for breakfast and dinner. The hotel personnel arranged all kinds of activities for us, very professional and careful. It is a true jewel in Yunnan!

This hotel should be 6 diamonds to showcase the excellence. Coming from Shangrila, which I highly recommend, the hotel picked us up and brought us 2 1/2 hours to the hotel, which sits at 10,000 feet above sea level. The very staff led us on 3 sightseeing events, including rafting & walking on a glass platform. We elected to have a dinner not at the restaurant but in one of the few BBQ stands nearby while overlooking the mountain range. The room in Building 8 was huge, clean, and equipped with a large bathtub. The following day we took the tour bus up to the peak at 14,000 feet - again accompanied by super friendly hotel staff. Although the breakfast was just adequate and the beds squeaked on every turn, this hotel is worthy of the higher price & 6 stars!!!

Amazing location inside the National Park, very helpful staff who showed us around and helped arrange transport from Shangrila and back. The hotel booking includes park entrance fee. Chinese breakfast was good, plenty of variety.

We had an unique experience at this classical mountain lodge. We arrived by car and had to pick up the tickets to the National Park, that was very well arranged and the reception of the Park was informed about our arrival. We arrived at the hotel after an hour of drive through stunning landscape. We were greeted in the most welcoming way by hotel staff and walked to our room which had a huge balcony facing breathtaking view over the mountains. The hotel has great architecture blending into natural surroundings and someone is making great effort in keeping it that way, modern appliances are all painted red brick so they don’t stick out of the whole impression. We had a dinner at the restaurant which was delicious and staff was very welcoming. The number of attraction is quite long but we would strongly recommend to get ready and take an individual hikes. The staff of the hotel was extremely helpful and responsive to our every need. It was definitely a trip worth a drive from Lijiang.

The fee includes tickets and sightseeing bus transfers, and the price/performance ratio is acceptable. The hotel is in the scenic area, and you can see the snow-capped mountains across from the room terrace. The hotel has complete supporting facilities and is more ******* in style. Staying in the hotel gives you plenty of time to play freely. The hotel will arrange staff to accompany you to the Echo Wall and help take photos. There are vehicles for pick-up, which is very considerate. The downside is that the housekeeper's service awareness needs to be strengthened, for example: he needs to be able to take the initiative to help guests with their luggage, and he didn't take the initiative to inform me of the hotel's bonfire party at night, but only told me when I asked him. I got up early to watch the sunrise on the Golden Mountain from the room terrace, but unfortunately I couldn't see it due to the weather. The Grand Canyon, a scenic spot included in the ticket, was also closed, so I couldn't go hiking, which was a bit regrettable.

We just happened to encounter a room price reduction, and we were given scenic spot tickets and scenic spot project coupons. We can also drive into the village. The scenery of the Grand Canyon is very good. You can get off the car at any time to visit and take pictures. I think this alone is worth the price
