More like a 4 star B hotel but at least better than Ibis Sharjah Liked · 1. True non-smoking room not non-smoking only in name as at Ibis Sharjah 2. Excellent refrigerator with working freezer. 3. Excellent aircon with temperature control. 4. Spacious room and large modern bathroom. 5. Mattress is comfy. 6 Good blackout curtains. Disliked · 1. Drain in sink clogged 2. Hair drier not working 3. Annoying buzzing sound (emitted by refrigerator?) impeding continuous restful sleep 4. Clock set incorrectly indicating 40 minutes fast 5. Terrible corrugated floors uncomfortable to walk on with bare feet or with socks 6. Very few spare outlets to use or inconveniently located negating their utility 7. Quirky, unergonomic lighting i.e. insufficient lighting for reading in bed; floor lamp located in useless place 8. Bed needs an extra, thin sheet (brought my own fortunately) and is not long enough for tall people Cleaners start vacuuming around the doors of the room by 10AM so if you are not sleepless from the noise in the room, then you will get woken up by the cleaners mid-morning. I used this hotel as I had a 17 hour layover in Sharjah. It is located in the neighborhood Majaz-1. On the way from Sharjah airport on a Saturday evening it was slow going by taxi (30-40 minutes) at a cost of 55 dirhams but Sunday morning just 10-15 minutes at a cost of 36 dirhams. This was an alternative for me to staying at the overpriced Sharjah Airport hotel on Dhaid Road ”Centro” (in which there are no eating options outside this Centro Hotel). However, near Hotel 72 turning right at the main entrance staying on the main street there is a good Arabic restaurant within perhaps 250 meters from the hotel called Madfoon Al-Khaimah. That is why I rated location as very good in terms of utility of Hotel 72 as a transit hotel. Charged $79 for one night. If you add in an additional $27 for taxis from/to the Airport, the savings from staying is very small to nil but at least you can have a good meal at an affordable price near Hotel 72 at Madfoon Al-Khaimah. I would not rate this hotel highly but standards are low throughout Sharjah so, in comparison with other Sharjah options, it is not a bad choice. Certainly better than the last time I transited in Sharjah and stayed one night in Ibis Sharjah, which, even at half the price of Hotel 72, is an inferior choice by far. If memory serves, by the way, I stayed in room 607 down the corridor on the 6th floor last door on the left.

We arrived at the hotel about 8:00 a.m. The tour operator warned that the settlement would take place at 14:00 and feed us on this day will only be dinner. But! The room was provided to us immediately and with a smile spent on breakfast <3. Only then we understood how valuable it is, so the nearest restaurants do not work (left of the hotel is closed for reconstruction, restaurant on the right (about the supermarket) closed in the pandemic and with the ends). The room was quiet, no noise from the road. The balcony was very short (it is not in all rooms). The beds are chic separate half-square. Breakfasts were very liked: Orange cashes on water (but if you add the flavour, the taste is wonderful), butter, salads, lepers (type, lavasha), sandwiches (most often with tomatoes), eggs, toasts, nuts/naggets/couches/egg, flavored coffee with milk. There are small comments on lunch and dinner. Always there were rice, flavours and pasta, chicken (in different forms), beef (bombish, different). Sometimes they gave vegetables-grill, lobio, potatoes cooked, fries, corn. They were quite uniform, but they were not hungry. ! Children have nothing to eat, TK most often the dishes were served either with pepper or spices. For lunch always different soups (incredible: mushroom, peanut, puree, noodles). Desserts are also delicious, but few (only 2 options): rulers/arbuz/awesome gel with pineapple or coconut/pahlava. In general, the hotel liked it, but the room fund is old, so the rating is four. It is time to repair. Clean up perfectly. Always perfectly clean. Every day filled: champagne, gel, loose, soap, water. Before the sea 7 minutes (when you go out - right). We need to cross three roads with one-way traffic. We have no problems, often drivers have conceded. The beach towel was taken on the respiratory, the voucher was photographed on the phone. Rental umbrella on the beach 600rub, lying 300rub. Safe in the closet is free. The roof pool is cold. In the morning in the hotel hall the aroma lamp is a bomb.

Very cost-effective, very satisfied with the service. The room has windows, is spacious, and has a high floor height, making it quite comfortable to live there. Turn right about 100 meters away from the hotel and you will find the red line subway station: Jadeda. It is 4 stops away from Hamad International Airport Terminal 1, which is very convenient.

Next to the park, a beautiful view on it and the bay, we changed the room, went to the TK next to the noise from the nearby building. the view is better on the park if the room in the shadow from the nearby buildings is not very comfortable. In the apartments there are all necessary, very convenient for big families. can be recommended!

Not happy with Trip.com as when we reached hotel they made us wait for more than 1 hr and said no booking by my name, thn i wasted my money on international calls to Trip.com and after that issue got resolved and in return i got only 1500 points as an compensation... sad very sad for making ur client wait for more than hour and in return you get compensation as 1500 points

Co located in a shopping and office building there is plenty on hand to assist a stay. The Carrefour Market on the ground floor opposite the hotel lobby is extremely handy. Unfortunately, it does add to the time spent in lifts as they traverse the shopping and office levels. The hotel is not flash and is a little tired in decor, but the staff are pleasant and helpful even though they may be short of numbers for the busy times. Breakfast in the Tulip Restaurant is a good spread with many varieties of food available including a live omelette station. It’s also a pleasant view over the lagoon. The 11th floor rooms are a good size but the view can be a little drab when faced with the empty office block. The decor tiredness reveals itself in the lingering smoke smell even though the floor is a designated non-smoking zone. As to overall value, I can’t really give any pointers as I didn’t pick up the tab for my seven night stay.
