Cutlers Hotel

Excellent location but it 's not easy to find the hotel entrance. The room is nice and big but the decoration is old-styled. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. but hotel breakfast is not recommended as it is just the packed sandwich. overall, it is a fair and cosy experience.

The car park is infested with rats. Been going to the hotel over the last 6 months and have seen one almost everytime. They are nesting in the bushes in the car park. The reception just say it can't be helped next to the canal. I disagree ! The bushes need taking out and the pest control levels increasing.

Very close to the city center. Cheap with easy access, relatively close to the train station. I think the room needs a renovation. However, due to its location and its price, I would stay there again ...

A hotel tucked out of the way but in a city-centre location. It's well worth using it if you stay in Sheffield. The Arundel Gate car park in only a short walk away. The shops and buses and trams by the Cathedral are literally a two minute walk away. The staff on reception were very polite and helpful. We didn't have breakfast or use the bar.

We stayed for one night at this hotel. We paid extra for the Executive room and were very disappointed. -The toilet did not flush properly, the taps would barely work and there was a hair product left from the previous guest. -The windows were located 8ft high which required a pole to close, however they did not lock properly. We stayed during high winds which slammed the windows open every time we closed them. -There was a lot of noise throughout the night from people shouting, loud music and building work. -There were stains on the carpet and walls and the king sized bed was two single beds pushed together. -When we reported an issue with our keys not working, the staff member on reception in the evening was rude and it felt like we were a huge inconvenience. This was one of, if not the worst hotel experience we have had. If we were staying for more than one night we would have moved hotels. I'm disappointed that we spent extra on an upgrade, only for it to probably be worse than a regular room. Overall I would avoid this hotel if you want a good night's sleep and a clean & functioning room.
