Not like the pictures at all. Extremely dated and very much in need of new everything. Very disappointing.

We paid £127 for a room in the nest but got a bargain basement room in the “space saver at figtree lane”. We booked the room as we was watching Peter Kay and turned it into a stop over. Once we booked the room they became very aggressive with demanding my driving license for identification and £150 damage deposit. It was also claiming “private parking” which is not correct it is a private owned car park at £10 for 24hrs, a ten minute walk from the property. Access to the property was simple and a bit awkward to use the lock box but we got inside , I noticed the entrance to the main building had these very heavy metal gates and upon entering was like “student accommodation” very basic setup. We was allocated apar**ent 1 in the space saver at figtree lane (we wasn’t aware of this at the time). Upon entering the property I noticed it was freezing inside and the windows had been left open. We tried to turn on these really small heaters but you could, fart harder, so we left them off. There was an oil heater in the lounge area but upon moving it was very difficult to move and looked broken along with the table next to it so they got left as they were. We went for food and the show returning around 0100 and the realisation of where we was and the condition made me want to leave but I had had a few pints so decided to stay it till 0700 where we left immediately. During this period we noticed dried sick on the walls and skirting board around the bed. It was very obvious as the space between the bed and the wall was minimal. There was also cigarette burns in the bed covers and the bed squeaks at any given opportunity. There was cigarette burns in the bath mats and the blinds didn’t close fully leaving a bright light constantly shining in during the hours we was there. Once I returned home and rested I messaged the owner with our experience and the damaged items. He withheld our damage deposit ans HE blamed us for doing the damage, this took us a further 4 days to have returned when it never looked like we was getting it back. After getting in touch with ***********, who did nothing. We was met with some very abusive and aggressive message from their manager who has zero customer care. We stayed on the 17/11/2023 and 10 days later I am still getting bullying emails from them with regards my true review. ****AVOID AT ALL COSTS***** All these want is your money something we all work hard for. To be able to enjoy night out and away. These are scammers and are allowed to get away with it with *********** who do not care or help. ****AVOID AVOID AVOID****

It's a building with several apar**ents so ours did not exactly match the photos, but it did look similar enough. We were on the second floor and there was no lift - something to be aware of if you have trouble with stairs. The bed was really comfortable and the sheets were lovely and soft. The sofa was a little small but comfortable enough. The apar**ent was clean, but some of the kitchen utensils were dirty, presumably from previous guests. The oven did not work for us. I think the kitchen could benefit from a few more supplies. The shower was great, really good water pressure and heat. It's a good location, the city centre is easily walkable and amenities are all close by. Overall a very pleasant stay and great for the price!

Overall I’d happily return. Sounds first world problem but on night of WC semi- final BBC1 reception dreadful so watched match on phone. Heating effective in freezing spell but no control so too stuffy. Shower head attachment to column broken. Really clear info on appliances etc. it’s in one of my favourite parts of town - lots of character and fine old terraces. Place was immaculately clean and tidy on arrival. Nothing like photos on the booking site though - was that a different place?

Really poor, nothing like the photos. Dirty, the fridge didn't work, plug sockets and shelves falling off the walls. Avoid

First impressions count the stairs were tatty and unkempt Bleach stained carpet and grubby patches The room was more like student accommodation some soft lighting may have helped A rip on the sofa was offputting The bedding was poor sheet did not fit the bed and cover was not ironed One mug for two of us but three of everything else !! Quite disappointing but the positive was the location close to everything we needed Would not stay again unless reassured that things had changed Did not look like the images shown on booking . Com

I paid £79 via *********** and then received an e mail from the apar**ent demanding £150 via bank transfer - to gain access and as a security deposit I said I would only do so when I had seen the apar**ent an was told until paid I would not get the access code or keys !! I rang *********** and complained and the stay was cancelled but was told non refundable !! I am now trying to get monody back from *********** This place is a joke !!

Immediately from walking in the front door it was obvious there was a distinct lack of attention to detail with these apar**ents; particularly, with the cleaning. The hand sanitizer was completely empty and not filled for the duration we were there. The TV cabinet was full of dust and finger marks; the TV remote was sticky; and there were large cracks and paint crumbling off the walls. The duvets were creased and there was mould around the rim of the toilet. The bathroom window lock was broken and wouldn't lock; the window kept sliding down and we couldn't shut it. There is no double glazing and you could hear everything from the street at night (mostly made up of drunken students). The wifi wouldn't work. There is no reception or on-site staff to help you with anything. For the price we paid, we found this to be completely unacceptable. I should stress for anyone thinking about staying here: they charge you £150 deposit to confirm your stay, but they don't state this at the time of booking. We are still waiting for ours back. Not happy.
