Very comfortable stay, spotlessly clean and a very comfortable bed. Bath robes are a nice touch. Tea, coffee, fresh milk and biscuits which you can top up from stations on each corridor. Breakfast was very good.

A fairly basic hotel, but fine for a quick stopover. Coffee facilities in each room and on each floor were a nice touch. Rooms quite dated and breakfast was a bit lacklustre.

A great location for the university side of town at a very reasonable price. Breakfast was nice and we appreciated the “top up” stations with tea bags etc on each floor (although having a water station with bottles of tap water to take to the room or a water fountain would have been nice as these days we all want to be able to fill up our water bottles) - it didn’t matter to us but there is no lift and to keep up the high quality of the hotel I’d say many of the doors throughout the hotel require some TLC. Parking available which is a big bonus as can be a struggle to park otherwise in that area. Overall an excellent stay. A few tweaks would make it perfect.

We needed to come and visit our daughter who was unwell whilst at university and booked a room here at short notice. Anna at reception was excellent, she allocated us a lovely, big, spotlessly clean room with a great bathroom too. All the staff are so helpful, breakfast is delicious and we have booked a few more trips here for when visiting kids at uni. Highly recommend.

The staff are fantastic - from the woman on reception who checked me in to the woman who seated me at breakfast and sorted out my order including a couple of special requests. Friendly and efficient. Room was lovely - nice decor and spotless, bed really comfy, lovely toiletries and glad to see in refillable bottles. Great to have a decent coffee machine in the room. All in all like the best type of boutique hotel but at a brilliant price
