This time I took my baby to Shenzhen for a short stay of two days. I came here because of its reputation and immersively experienced the architectural works of the masters and the model of old city transformation. The whole process was full of surprises and satisfaction. It was my first time staying at Vanke Hotel. The hotel butler was very considerate and provided a very detailed architectural explanation. Nantou Ancient City is very suitable for walking babies. There are small squares and parks where you can play, various food and drink, and art exhibition halls just two steps away from the hotel. Compared with hotels with shopping malls outside, I personally prefer this kind of environment full of small happiness and market a**osphere. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the east gate of the ancient city. There are stone slabs and ramps all the way. We have a lot of luggage and push a stroller. It is not very strenuous to walk slowly. There are several steps to the hotel door, and the butler will help with the luggage. This time we have been sunny, it may be more troublesome if it rains. It is best to add the butler WeChat in advance so that you can ask for help when you have any questions.

入住體驗非常不錯，幾個管家都很友好，給人一種屬於南頭古城的社區生活感受。 其中有幾個很打動人的地方。 1. 材料質感：其中有外牆上不同氧化的耐候鋼板、“剝開”的原有磚牆、室內斑駁的水泥天花，灰色牆漆、黑色鐵製的拉閘和格柵、長虹玻璃、不銹鋼構件、綠色鐵製構件、木質牆板、“琉璃瓦”色彩的淋浴間鋪磚。材料從粗獷過渡到細膩，其通過長距離產生的延遲到來的“過去”與通過短距離產生的親切身體感受，給人帶來對感性物料的延續的新的認知。 2.從“物件”出發的生活體驗：不銹鋼的洗手枱、不銹鋼收納風筒的盒子，黑色細長桿件的鐵閘，綠色軟墊的木質傢俱，綠色的鐵製櫃體和床頭燈。這些是特別的，是有異於普通生活場景的物件，而似乎能找到現實中的參照，如家家户户的鐵閘們，琉璃中的綠釉。這些“新”物件帶着過去的蹤跡塑造了“不存在”的故事。 3.“在場”的“未來向度”：或者説一種展開新的形式的“懷舊”。整個酒店是舊房改造而成，其在旨向舒適的酒店生活而需要適度脱離原有環境的同時，又深入到原來的環境中去。比如敲開部分牆體和樓板，置入的鋼結構樓道；户外的風景與周遭的外牆成了房子內部空間的一部分，又像考古的場所，暗示着除了置入的鋼構外，整個場所是一體的。此外，又如洗手間中可開啟的不銹鋼鏡子構件，窗外有穿孔板阻擋着部分的視線，但又隱匿着不停向外窺探的意圖。鐵製的隔柵和閘門也是如此，其隔斷着户外，給卧室和客廳製造出內向的氛圍，但隨時可以“沖破阻攔”。其中不斷地嘗試與環境對話，因此所言“在場”，在此之中，紮根於歷史的脱離，是面向未來的嘗試。
