Other then the location that is super close to Wanda Plaza, everything about this hotel is just average. I appreciate that the hotel extended the check-out time to 2 pm, however, they cut off the access to the elevator and your room after 12 pm, which means you either checkout at 12 or if you still want to stay in the hotel, DO NOT leave your room from 12-2pm, otherwise you cannot get back inside. I went out to have breakfast and returned after 12 which ended up asking other people who just check-in to help me access to my floor and find a cleaning lady to help me open my room door.

You can only keep the windows open to ventilate. It takes a long time to get rid of the smell. Hygiene is also average, the toilet is not particularly clean. Hotel service - good. Breakfast - Buffet breakfast for 40 yuan, everything is ok. Dinner - We dined at Phoenix Hakka Restaurant on the first night. The food was good, especially the squab. The skin was crispy and delicious. Highly recommended. Rooms - The quietness and air conditioning can be adjusted by yourself, and the rooms are spacious. Security - There are many security guards patrolling in Gankeng Ancient Town. Food markets - all food markets are very reasonably priced. The only drawback - the slippers in the room were a little damp (see photos).

The location of the hotel is very convenient. It is just before the entrance of Gankeng Ancient Town. There are places to eat, drink and have fun downstairs and around. It is very lively with many people on weekends. Check in at 4pm, the process was very fast and smooth. This time I stayed in a deluxe king room. There is no bathtub, but there is a terrace, where you can have an unobstructed view of the entire village and night market below. The scenery at night is so beautiful!  The hotel room is quite big. The only drawback is that the bathroom has no door. Although the wet and dry parts are separated, the bathroom is not so convenient if you are not a couple. There is no hook to hang clothes. In addition, the shower head leaks and the shower head is thrown out. Unfortunately, the hotel room was not well soundproofed. People kept coming in and out of the partitioned room, and it was very noisy at night and in the morning when it was being opened and closed! Hope the hotel will improve. The hotel has a restaurant - Nanyang Coconut Chicken, which is reasonably priced and delicious, with a nice environment and good service. The most surprising thing is the claypot rice, which is so big and delicious.

The boss is very warm and polite. Although the room is small, it is very clean. I thought it would be very noisy at the entrance of the ancient town, but it won't be. It's just that the soundproofing of the room door is a bit poor. If someone walks by outside the door, you can hear it inside the room. Another bad thing is the bathroom. There is no dry and wet separation. Even the toilet and toilet paper will get wet after taking a shower. , there is no hot water supply for the wash basin, which is not something I am used to. If you don't mind the small room and bathroom issues, this hotel is still a good choice.
