I got shoved in the hotel by my unruly neighbour at 3:30AM. Got up in the middle of the night from loud noises next door. I called the hotel management to complain about the noise, nothing changed. 10 mins later I call them again and ask them if they’ve identified where the noise is coming from; they say it’s the room next door. I tell them to get it under control or I’m going to march up to the room myself. 15 mins later it’s still noisy and I go to the next door room myself and the drunk guy there shoves me. The waiter who was standing there does nothing about it. I go to the front desk; the duty manager gets informed only after the incident and I’m asked if I want my room changed; so I’m supposed to bear the inconvenience and the insult instead of the hotel managing the drunk guy

I rarely write public reviews of hotels, but after staying at Wildflower Hall in August 2024, I was compelled to. I have no hesitation in saying that the experience - and in particular, the hospitality - we had at Wildflower Hall was unlikely anything we have experienced anywhere else. Besides the location which is in of itself worth your while and truly stunning -- extraordinary sunrises every morning over the Himalayas and the biggest surprise, an enchanting cedar forest that is accessible from the property through a gate -- the staff at the hotel were truly extraordinary. Thank you to Samiksha at housekeeping for a very memorable and personalized welcome in our room; to Shandil and Sunit for top-notch service at every meal and for curating a wonderful picnic experience; and to Tarun Thakur for a superbly informative and engaging forest walk. Last but not the least, thank you also to Mr. Param for expertly and safely driving us from and to Chandigarh. Thank you simply to everyone at the Wildflower Hall, and we do hope to return.

Apart from the wonderful natural beauty around the property, the Oberoi hospitality is the icing on the cake. They are magnificent in every possible aspect. A special shout out to Chef Rajat for being extra courteous.

We had a great time, went to celebrate my wife's birthday. Everything from check in to check out was perfect. The property is huge with a rich history. Rooms are spacious with a nice view. Food and spirits overall are good. In room dining and housekeeping is great. And there is nothing to talk about the Oberoi hospitality, it is easily the best amongst any other hotel brand. We got the perfect weather which was the cherry on top. The entire staff is accommodating and courteous. Some notable mentions: Sahil, Kushal, Mrityunjay, pool staff, Ashish and other housekeeping team, the entire in room dining team. We were very pleased with the stay and most likely visit again soon.

Excellent hotel with character in mountain retreat. The bedrooms are large and comfortable with good daytime seating. Lovely old charm in hall, bar, snooker room and card playing rooms. Large 20m pool with attractive outside jacuzzi overlooking the hills and mountains on a good day. As is everywhere in the Shimla area, situated on a hill and with 8000 ft ASL you notice the lower levels of oxygen in the air so go slower than normal. The catering was delicious, the staff service is exceptional and you are remembered from start to finish. We had a small difficulty ‘out of hours’ and we were treated promptly and with kindness.

wildflower is epitome of luxury and the staff makes you feel like king. Excellent service and food is super awesome and they take special care to make everything according to your taste. Rooms are very clean and hygienic and terrace restaurant is something not be missed. The best part is the open air warm jacuzzi. Its simply heaven and makes your stay worth. Overall an excellent experience
