Hotel Izukyu

A very good hotel, you can directly see Izu Bay from the room, very beautiful! The dinner was very rich. I stayed for two consecutive nights and had different dishes every day. They were very attentive. The breakfast was also great. It was a buffet breakfast!

This is a big hotel. There is a shuttle bus from Shimoda Station. The service staff is very enthusiastic and the check-in instructions are very detailed. The rooms face the sea and all have beautiful sea views. There are indoor and outdoor hot springs to soak in. In front of the hotel is Shirahama Beach, and it takes 10 minutes to walk to Shirahama Shrine. The hotel's breakfast and dinner are very good, but it's a pity that the weather is not hot yet and the outdoor swimming pool is not open yet. Shimoda is nice and you can come again.

The room is large, with Japanese tatami, and the breakfast is rich in variety, all Japanese food. The hotel has hot springs and is surrounded by Shirahama Beach. It is very close to the center of Shimoda City. There is a 7-11 convenience store under the hotel, which is very convenient. It is a hotel worth recommending.

It’s not bad. It’s just that the nearby restaurants are not close. But other cities except Tokyo and Osaka also have this time. Where I live, I can see the sea when I open the curtains. The sea is really beautiful.

Invincible sea view, Japanese style room, large space. There is also a cherry blossom tree in front of the hotel. You can enjoy the night cherry blossoms by turning on the lights at night. There is a shuttle bus from the hotel to Izukyu Station in the morning and afternoon, which is very convenient! You can see my photos for specific times. There are hot springs and shopping stores on the first floor. If you make your own bed, the front desk will give you a voucher of about 500 yen per person, which can be used in the shopping store on the first floor. When you go out, turn left and there is a 7-11. Cross the road and you will find Shirahama Beach. The water is so beautiful. You can walk a few hundred meters to Shirahama Shrine, which is highly recommended. All staff, regardless of position or occupation, are enthusiastic, polite, and kind, making guests feel at home. In particular, a manager (Ms. Lin) from Taiwan was very patient and thoughtful in explaining check-in matters to us. After returning to the hotel from the scenic spot, the water in the hot water bottle was always full, which is so considerate~ The transportation is also very convenient. When you arrive at Izukyu Station, you can take a train to Kawazu or Kinosaki Coast or Izu Kogen Station, or you can also do Take the bus to Minami-Izu Town to enjoy the cherry blossoms and rapeseed flowers. The breakfast is also very rich and delicious~

It's an old-school Japanese-style hotel. The hotel facilities are a bit old, but it's relatively clean and tidy. The bathroom has a slight smell. The daily breakfast has almost no changes, but the variety is quite rich. But it’s Japanese style, and I’m personally not too used to it. All staff, regardless of position or occupation, are all enthusiastic, polite, and friendly, giving guests a feeling of home and an old-school Japanese-style hotel feel. There are many shuttle buses every day and it is very convenient to take you to the station. You can walk to the nearest convenience store in 5 minutes from the hotel. The hotel is a 5-minute walk to Shirahama Beach.

Incomparable sea view, Japanese-style room, large space, it is a living room during the day, and it turns into a bedroom at night. The breakfast is rich in variety. The guests are mainly locals, and the quality is very high! You can see a lot of stars at night by the beach, and listen to the waves blowing in the sea breeze and count the stars! The sand is soft! I will try it again when the weather is hot next time! The black rice noodles bought at the specialty supermarket on the first floor of the hotel are super delicious! !
