Diani Sea Resort - All Inclusive

Van 5 januari tot 7 maart 2024 waren we in Diana See Resort. Weer een super fijne tijd gehad hier. Bij aankomst was het een heel warm ontvangst, het voelde als thuiskomen. Vele van het personeel kende ons nog van eerdere verblijven. Wel wat pech gehad, manlief en ook ik zelf zijn opgenomen geweest in het ziekenhuis. Bij terugkomst in het hotel een heel hartelijk welkom. Er was steeds een warme belangstelling en niets maar dan ook niets was teveel voor het personeel om het naar onze zin te maken. Wat hebben we het naar onze zin gehad. Mooie kamer, schone kamer, gevulde koelkast en vooral vriendelijk personeel.

The hotel is beautifully located right on Diani Beach and we had a great stay. The rooms were renovated and modern. We had a room with a direct view of the pool. The food in the hotel was very varied and always freshly prepared. The cocktails were also mostly very good and the staff were mostly friendly and helpful. We had the most fun with the guys from the pool bar. They were all very friendly and served us our drinks every day. Sometimes even right on the lounger on the beach. The young manager Lydon Mutene was particularly excellent. He was very friendly to us and asked every day if everything was OK. He also always brought our drinks immediately when we came to eat. That's really good service. Dinner in the evening was outside on the terrace three times a week, which was very pleasant as it is very warm in the restaurant. Unfortunately, it was completely stopped from April and the food was now only available in the restaurant. When we asked the hotel management, they explained this with the weather. Although the weather was just as good as in March and it hadn't rained in the evenings. The real reason was probably that the hotel was closed on April 16th and everything was shut down. The cocktail evening at the pool bar was also discontinued in April. This was obviously very unpleasant and the hotel management should think about whether they should unnecessarily scare away guests in this way in the future. Otherwise a nice hotel with a few minor faults that could of course be improved.

Staff are always friendly, nice and helpful. Everything is very clean. The room and bathroom seem to have been recently renovated. The socket at the desk also has 2x USB-A slots, so if you just want to charge your phone you don't need an adapter. The food is large and very tasty. The WiFi transfer rate sometimes goes to zero, sometimes it doesn't work at all. The water pressure in the shower drops just before dinner. Small cosmetic repairs could be done in some places. Unfortunately, a few guests behave in accordance with the all-inclusive cliché.

All-inclusive hotel very well located. Wonderful beach and all the fantastic staff, very friendly and always ready to help. Great food, for all tastes. Very good fruit and fish and 5-star juices. I would come back tomorrow. The hotel is not new but everything is very clean.
