Nice family hotel and centrally located opposite the train station with many restaurants choices. Checkin was a breeze and room was clean and spacious. Breakfast that came with the hotel stay was excellent with many choices and sufficient refills. Carpark was chargeable at 1200y per night at the next building and walking to carpark can be cumbersome for some during bad weather. Highly recommended place for those looking for accommodation in this part of the city or exploring the city.

I didn't chose the hotel but I loved it. Location was great, very convenient for the station, room was fine, front desk staff were kind and thoughtful. Enjoyed a better than average breakfast, included in the room rate. The whole experience was much more ”boutique” than ”chain” hotel. But the real glory of the place is the privileged access to the former daimyo's garden next door. Each morning at breakfast, the waitstaff encouraged me to step outside into the garden. On the third morning, I finally did it. What a lovely place! Japanese aesthetics at their best. And I had it all to myself. Would have been worth staying here just for the garden, but like I said, the hotel was good, too.

Tekka bowl for breakfast, Shizuoka oden and pork bowl for dinner are the best for a light evening drink. I still want to use it. Moreover, they will pick you up at Shizuoka station. It is a popular and very good hotel. The only drawback was that the rooftop dryer was not very good and I couldn't dry it (^_^;). The best part is that you can use the washing machine and dryer for free. Detergent can be purchased at the front desk for 60 yen.

Stayed on a business trip. I didn't expect much because it was a small 々 old independent system, but I put emphasis on amenities and various services in the room and the impression was good. Amenities are free to pick up in the lobby, and you can get dripping couch. The lobby has a free coffee machine. The room can be humidized by borrowing a steam humidifier. Breakfast is small, but it is good to make curry and pork soup. There are two chain hotels nearby and I used it there, but it is not good or bad, and there is no service that is particularly happy ... I thought this was recommended when staying in Shimizu.

The hotel is located next to Miho Matsubara. The bus departs from Shimizu about 20 minutes, and then you can walk for 10 minutes. The hotel has English service. The hotel’s facilities are older. The hot springs exchange men’s and women’s pools at a fixed period of time. The outdoor pool is small and has no view, and the indoor pool is not big. I found cockroaches in the bathroom at night and I felt very sad. Miho Matsubara is very beautiful and there are few people. I hiked for nearly an hour in the morning and only saw 3 or 4 people... The only highlight is the small barbecue restaurant next to the hotel. It tastes good, the owner is enthusiastic, and the quality is cheap. It was the happiest meal I had on this trip.

It's difficult to travel long distances, so I booked this hotel because I can use miles and only need to travel within the prefecture. In a room with an atmosphere of a renovated old folk house, we had a plan with breakfast, but it was delicious. In the surrounding area, there was a hot spring with a beer bar (the fried rice bowl in the dining room inside was delicious), a stylish cafe, and a restaurant where you can eat as well as seafood. Nihondaira, Miho no Matsubara, and Shimizu Port (where we boarded a pleasure boat) may not be flashy, but I think it's an area where you can easily enjoy sightseeing. To put it bluntly, the pillows in the room didn't match (although we all have different tastes in the first place). Also, since it is an old folk house, it is easy to leak sound, so be careful. I felt that the room was especially pleasing to foreigners.

It was very beautiful and nice. It was convenient because I could go to the station and restaurants right away 😊 If I could stay at this price, I would use it again.

Mt. Fuji seen from the lobby and restaurant is a beauty that is not ashamed of the concept of ”Scenic Museum”. There is an observation deck on the side of the upper lounge, and the scenery seen from there is even more wonderful. However, as others have posted, it may not be seen in the condition of steam even if it is sunny. The garden is large and you can hear the birds singing in color 々. The service is also substantial, such as taking pictures casually. There is also a transfer to and from Kunoyama Ropeway. I gave it 5 points because it was 5 points, but there are some points that make me think that if it is 10 points, it is 9 points. When you line up in a restaurant, you take the order with the touch panel instead of writing it with a ballpoint pen, but it is difficult to understand the location and the order cannot be taken properly. There is no announcement about how to line up for breakfast. There is no sheet cleaner in the toilet. I hope to improve around here.
