My stay at Hotel Continental Forum in Sibiu, Romania, was an absolute gem of an experience. 🏨 Nestled in the heart of this charming Transylvanian city, the hotel's location was a perfect blend of convenience and historic charm.
The highlights of the hotel were its elegant rooms, each tastefully decorated and offering a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. The friendly and attentive staff added a warm touch, making me feel truly welcomed.
Waking up to the view of Sibiu's old town from my room was a highlight in itself. The hotel's proximity to landmarks like the Council Tower and the Brukenthal National Museum allowed for easy exploration of the city's rich history and culture.

Un buen hotel al lado de la ciudad antigua. Lo único que no me gustó lo que había para el desayuno pues poca variedad y sin servicio de platos hechos al momento. Falta un cocinero para hacer algunos platos. La relación calidad precio es muy buena

I have booked the presidential suit for my family and I was expecting to have a great time at the Continental hotel. On the contrary, I was very disappointed because of the lack of cleanliness of the room. The bathrooms weren’t cleaned properly, in the shower cabin there were empty shower gel bottles. The fridge had MOLD in it. In one of the bedrooms under the bed there was trash. It seemed the room hasn’t been cleaned for a long time. I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone and for sure I will not come back to stay there.

I would say the main pro of this hotel is the location, as it is very central and close to public transport. Our main issue was the fact that we happened to be in Sibiu during a relatively hot week and the air condition was not working. When we spoke to reception they basically shrugged and said that the air conditioning is centralised and currently it is set to heating despite the fact it is hot. We opened the windows but given the traffic in the area it was hard to sleep with all the noise. We therefore avoided the room or the hotel for most of the day as the public areas were also too hot. There was also a lack of ventilation in the bathroom. The breakfast we booked was also unimpressive. The selection of items was poor. We have stayed in other continental hotels before and we were expecting a much better service.

I stayed a night in a superior room here and enjoyed the superb location (at the crossroads between the Old town and modern part), the cleanliness, well-appointed room, very good breakfast and friendly staff. In particular the room had a tea and coffee machine, stocked minibar, free bottled water, a fluffy bed, and shower with movable handle. Individual toiletries, including brush kit and shave kit (!) as well as bathrobes and slippers were provided. Breakfast (7-10 on weekdays) was complex with sandwich ingredients, hot options (eggs, scramble, sausages, potatoes), tea, coffee, juices, sweets, pastries, muesli. The staff was friendly and efficient. Overall another greatly placed and dependable Continental hotel. I will return

Close to the center, the room was clean and spacious, the only problem was the glass walled bathroom, it wasn't private enough, little awkward. The breakfast was really good, with a lot to choose from.
